Okay, so I’ve been on the hunt for a new purse for, like, forever. I really wanted something classy, you know? Something that screams “I have my life together” even when I totally don’t. I finally decided on a black Michael Kors purse with a gold lock. Sounds simple, right? But let me tell you, the journey to get this bag was a whole thing.
First, I started by browsing online, just to get a feel for the different styles and prices. I spent hours scrolling through pages, comparing different models. Some had chains, some had more pockets, some were bigger, some were smaller. It was overwhelming! I narrowed it down to a few that I liked, but I’m one of those people who needs to see things in person, you know?
So, I hit up the mall. I went to, like, three different department stores. One store didn’t even have the one I wanted in stock. Seriously? The second store had it, but it was hidden way in the back, like they were ashamed of it or something. I had to ask a sales associate to dig it out for me. I was not like the experience. Finally, the third store had it, and it was displayed all nice and pretty, but guess what? It was way more expensive than it was online. What’s up with that?
I was feeling pretty discouraged at this point. But, I decided to try one last thing. I remembered there was an outlet mall about an hour away. I know, outlet malls can be a gamble, but I was desperate.
So, I drove out there, and after walking around for what felt like a mile, I found the Michael Kors outlet store. I walked in, and there it was. The black purse with the gold lock. It was perfect. And the best part? It was on sale! I snatched it up so fast. I paid, skipped out of the store, and immediately transferred all my stuff into it. The perfect ending, I guess.

My Final Thoughts
Honestly, finding this purse was way more effort than it should have been. But I have to admit, I am so happy with it! It’s the perfect size, it looks super chic, and I feel like a million bucks carrying it, especially with the gold lock!
