Okay, so you guys know I’m kinda obsessed with Taylor Swift, right? And I’m also a shoe fanatic. So, naturally, I started wondering about her shoe style. Not like, designer brands she wears on the red carpet, but more like her everyday, comfy-but-still-stylish shoes.

I started my quest with a deep dive into Pinterest and those celeb fashion blogs. I typed in “Taylor Swift street style shoes” and “Taylor Swift casual outfits” and went down the rabbit hole. It took a while, sifting through a ton of pap photos and red carpet looks. I was trying to filter out the glam and focus on the real-life stuff.
First up: Sneakers. It was clear pretty quickly that Taylor loves her sneakers. I saw a bunch of photos of her rocking different brands and styles. I noticed she often goes for classic white sneakers. I guess she likes the clean look.
Then, I saw pictures of her in these chunky sneakers. Not the really crazy, super-high platform ones, but the kind that give you a little lift and have a sporty vibe. I figured, okay, I need to try some of these chunky sneakers myself.
Next: Boots. Ankle boots seemed to be her go-to. I found images of her in black leather ankle boots with a bit of a heel – practical but still edgy. I thought to myself, “That’s totally something I could wear every day.”
I then saw a bunch of images of her wearing Chelsea boots, especially in brown or tan suede. She seemed to style them with everything from jeans to dresses.

Flats and Sandals: It was a bit harder to find pics of her in flats, but I did see a few of her wearing classic ballet flats. They seemed like her dressed-down, comfy option.
For sandals, she kept it simple with slides or classic strappy sandals, mostly in neutral colors.
Okay, so, based on my research, I decided to create my own “Taylor-inspired” shoe collection. It wasn’t about buying the exact same designer shoes she owns, but more about capturing the essence of her style. So, I went shopping, both online and at a few of my favorite stores. I didn’t want to drop a ton of cash, so I looked for affordable alternatives that still looked good.
Here’s what I ended up getting:
- A pair of classic white sneakers. I went for a basic Adidas style – super versatile.
- Chunky white sneakers.
- Black leather ankle boots with a block heel. Perfect for adding a bit of edge to any outfit.
- Tan suede Chelsea boots. These are so comfy and go with everything.
- Ballet flats. I found a cute pair in black.
Now, it was time to try out my new shoes. I started by pairing the white sneakers with jeans and a t-shirt. Super easy and comfortable. Then, I wore the ankle boots with a dress and tights. Instantly elevated the look. The Chelsea boots were great with jeans and a sweater for a more casual vibe.
Honestly, it was fun to try and channel Taylor’s style. It wasn’t about copying her exactly, but about finding pieces that fit my own personal style. The best part is that all the shoes I bought are super wearable and practical for everyday life. Plus, now whenever I wear them, I feel a little bit like a pop star. Hehe.
Lessons Learned:
This little experiment taught me that you don’t need to spend a fortune to dress like your favorite celebrity. It’s more about understanding their style and finding pieces that work for you. And most importantly, have fun with it!
