So, I’ve been seeing this name, Katy England, popping up everywhere in fashion stuff lately. And honestly, I didn’t know who she was, so I started to dig into it. I was curious, you know, and started reading and watching all kinds of stuff online.
First, I found out that she is really important in fashion styling, I mean, she is really famous. Then I learned that she’s the Senior Fashion Editor at Large for AnOther Magazine. So I started flipping through some issues, just to get a feel for her style. It’s pretty cool, very edgy and unique.
Then I found this thing about her working with Alexander McQueen. They said she had a big influence on his work, which was super interesting. So, I started looking at old McQueen collections. I found she worked with some photographer called Benjamin Huseby and some model called Harper in this magazine called “Another A/W20”. I started searching for this magazine and found out that it was related to AnOther Magazine.
- I watched some videos of her, and I think one of them mentioned something about Sellotaping models’ shoes. It sounds crazy, but I guess that’s fashion.
- I also stumbled upon some photos of her at some event for Vivienne Westwood. That got me reading about Westwood, too. I didn’t know much about her before, but now I’m kind of fascinated.
It’s funny, I even saw something that seemed totally unrelated, about some Princess of Wales, born Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, and Prince William, but I guess that’s just how the internet is. It leads you down all these rabbit holes, you know?
Anyway, I just thought it was interesting how I started knowing nothing about Katy England, and now I feel like I’ve got a pretty good grasp on who she is and what she’s about. That’s the cool thing about the internet, right? You can learn so much just by being a little curious. And I’ve got a lot of pictures from searching her name. I’ve saved them all and I might even try to put together some outfits inspired by her style. Who knows, maybe I’ll discover a new look for myself!
It’s like, one minute you’re just browsing, and the next you’re diving deep into the world of high fashion. It’s pretty wild when you think about it.
