So, I finally got around to checking out that Air and Anchor spot down in Rhode Island the other day. Heard some buzz, you know, folks talking about their stuff, so I figured, why not see it for myself?

Getting there wasn’t too bad. Just drove down, found the area. It’s got that kinda low-key vibe, not some massive flashy place. Walked in, and yeah, it felt pretty authentic right off the bat. Not overly done up, just seemed like a real workspace where they actually make things, which I appreciate.
What I Found Inside
First thing I noticed was the smell – kinda like metal and maybe some polish? Definitely felt like a workshop. They had displays set up, showing off their jewelry and some other goods. Lots of brass, some leather bits, things with that nautical, kinda vintage feel they go for. It’s definitely got a specific look.
I spent a bit of time just looking around:
- Picked up a few necklaces, felt the weight of ’em. Solid stuff, not flimsy.
- Checked out some bracelets. Liked how simple some of the designs were.
- Saw some keychains and other accessories too.
Nobody was pushy, which was nice. Just let me browse. I think I saw someone actually working in the back, hammering away or something. It adds to the feeling that you’re getting something made with a bit of care, not just popped out of a giant factory somewhere overseas.
Ended up grabbing a simple brass cuff bracelet. Felt right, you know? Paid up, chatted for a minute with the person at the counter. Seemed like good people, passionate about what they’re doing there in Rhode Island.

Overall, it was a pretty straightforward visit. Went in, saw their stuff, liked the atmosphere, bought a little something. It felt genuine. Happy I made the trip down. It’s cool to see places like this still doing their thing.
