Okay, so I’ve been seeing “high tea outfits” all over my Pinterest and I wanted to try it out myself. It looked like so much fun, so I decided to give it a shot. I’m no fashion expert, but here’s how I did it.

First, I looked through my closet. I didn’t want to buy anything new, so I was determined to make it work with what I already had. I pulled out a bunch of dresses, skirts, and tops. I quickly realized I had a lot of floral stuff, which seemed perfect for a high tea vibe.
My Outfit Exploration
- Attempt 1: I tried a flowy, floral midi dress. It was pretty, but maybe a little too casual. It felt more like a picnic outfit than a high tea one.
- Attempt 2: Then I paired a white lace top with a pink pleated skirt. This was definitely closer! It felt elegant, but something was still missing…
- Attempt3:I change a simple dress,and wear a small suit on * looks better.
Accessories! That’s what I was missing.I add a simple necklace,It looks great!
For shoes, I debated between flats and heels. Heels seemed more “high tea,” but I also wanted to be comfortable. I ended up choosing a pair of low, block heels in a nude color. They looked nice and I could actually walk in them.
Finally, I did my hair and makeup. I went for a simple half-updo with some loose curls. For makeup, I kept it light and natural – some blush, mascara, and a pink lipstick. Nothing too crazy.
I felt pretty good about the final look! It wasn’t perfect, but it was definitely high tea appropriate. And most importantly, I had fun putting it together. I even took some pictures. I’m no model, that’s for sure! But hey, it was a fun little experiment. Maybe I’ll actually go to a high tea now!
