Okay, so, you won’t believe what I’ve been up to lately. I got this wild idea to dive into the world of fragrances, specifically, the one and only Snoop Dogg’s scent. Yeah, you heard that right, Snoop Dogg. I mean, the guy’s a legend, and I was super curious about what his fragrance would be like.

So, I started digging around. I read a bunch of stuff online. Apparently, Snoop’s into this Parfums de Marly Delina stuff. It’s got lychee, bergamot, Turkish rose, peony, and vanilla. Sounds kinda romantic, right? Not exactly what I expected from the Doggfather, but hey, who am I to judge? They say it’s good for date night or, you know, when you’re, like, at the Olympics, doing whatever Snoop does.
Then, I went down this rabbit hole of how to describe scents. You gotta use positive words, like “wonderful aroma,” “incredible fragrance,” or “beautiful scent.” You know, steer clear of the bad stuff like “awful” or “terrible.” Simple enough.
But then things got a bit interesting. I stumbled upon this CK EVERYONE thing. It’s supposed to be “genderless” and “celebrates the infinite freedom of self-expression.” Sounds kinda deep for a fragrance, but okay. It’s all citrusy and woody, and apparently, it’s good for the environment, so that’s a plus.
- I started by ordering both fragrances online. Waiting for them to arrive was the hardest part!
- Once they got here, I, of course, had to try them out. I sprayed a bit of the Delina on one wrist and the CK EVERYONE on the other.
- I walked around, asking people what they thought. My wife said the Delina was “nice,” but she liked the CK EVERYONE better. My kid just made a face and ran away, so I guess that’s a no for both.
- I even wore them to the grocery store. No one really said anything, but I did get a few weird looks. Maybe it was the mix of scents?
In the end, I realized that trying to capture Snoop’s essence in a fragrance is kinda like trying to catch smoke. It’s this mix of different vibes, you know? The Delina is all fancy and romantic, while the CK EVERYONE is more chill and down-to-earth. Maybe Snoop’s into both, or maybe he just likes to keep us guessing.
Oh, and I also found out why he’s called “Snoop Dogg.” Turns out, his mom nicknamed him “Snoopy” because he was a fan of the Peanuts cartoon. Who knew?

Anyway, this whole fragrance experiment was a wild ride. It didn’t really make me feel like Snoop, but it did give me a new appreciation for the power of scent. And hey, now I smell pretty good, so that’s a win, right?
My Conclusion
Trying to be like Snoop by using his fragrance? It’s a fun idea, but don’t expect miracles. Just enjoy the scents, and maybe you’ll find something you like. And remember, it’s all about expressing yourself, just like the Doggfather himself.
