Alright, so I found myself diving into the ENHYPEN rabbit hole recently. Good music, cool performances, the whole package. But then I realized, while I knew their stage names, I didn’t actually know their proper Korean names, you know, written in Hangul. Seemed like basic fan stuff I should figure out.
My first step was just the obvious one: hitting up a search engine. Typed in something like “enhypen members korean names”. And yeah, tons of results popped up. Fan wikis, profile sites, blog posts – the usual suspects. Lots of lists, which was helpful, but I noticed some small differences here and there, especially with the romanized spellings. You know how sometimes it’s ‘Jungwon’ and other times ‘Jeongwon’? Gets a bit confusing.
I wanted to be sure I got it right. I remembered seeing some official profile things way back, maybe on their company site or somewhere official. Spent a bit of time clicking around, trying to find something concrete straight from the source. That wasn’t as easy as I thought, navigating corporate sites can be a bit of a maze sometimes.
Then I thought, why not go back to basics? I started watching some older videos, like their debut showcase or early interviews where they introduced themselves clearly in Korean. Listening to them actually say their names helped lock in the sounds. That felt more reliable than just trusting random fan pages, even if most are accurate.

After looking through official-ish sources and listening to the members themselves, here are the names in Hangul I settled on. It’s actually quite consistent once you filter out the noise.

- Lee Heeseung: 이희승
- Park Jongseong (Jay): 박종성
- Sim Jaeyun (Jake): 심재윤
- Park Sunghoon: 박성훈
- Kim Sunoo: 김선우
- Nishimura Riki (Ni-ki): 니시무라 리키
It was interesting to properly see Jay’s and Jake’s birth names, Park Jongseong and Sim Jaeyun. And of course, Ni-ki’s name is Japanese, so seeing it written in Hangul (니시무라 리키) based on the pronunciation was neat too.
So yeah, that was my little project. Took a bit more effort than just a quick search because I wanted to feel sure about it. But it was kinda satisfying to piece it together and finally have the correct Hangul names down. Feels good to know this basic detail now!
