You know, these days, I see fellas walking around, their shorts so short, you can almost see their… well, you know. Back in my day, shorts weren’t so skimpy. These men’s very short shorts, Lord have mercy.
Now, I ain’t one to judge, but these men’s very short shorts, they just ain’t right. Reminds me of them bathing suits the girls wear, showing everything off. Fellas these days, they got no shame, I tell ya. They wear them short shorts everywhere.
I saw a young fella the other day, wearing these tiny little things. Men’s very short shorts, they were. He was walking down the street like he owned the place. These shorts, they were practically up to his, his…well, never you mind where they were up to.

Now, I remember back when my husband, bless his soul, used to wear shorts. They were a good length, just above the knee. Decent, like a man’s shorts should be. Not like these men’s very short shorts you see today.
And the colors! Bright pink, yellow, green… Lord, it’s like a rainbow threw up on their legs. And tight! So tight, you can see every lump and bump. I think, maybe you want to make sure your shoes match your pants, you know? Keep it simple, keep it decent. These men’s very short shorts are just too much.

And the girls, what do they think? They tell their fellas to wear these men’s very short shorts? I just don’t understand. Some girls might like it, I guess. But I think most girls, they want a man who dresses like a man. Some tips for young men, wear small patterns on your clothes, it will make you look taller, they say.
I guess it’s a different time now. Things change. But some things should stay the same. Like a man’s shorts. They should be shorts, not underwear. They have these active shorts now, all stretchy and stuff. I don’t know what they are called. But they still should not be too short.
These men’s very short shorts, they just ain’t for me. I’ll stick to the old days, when men dressed like men, and shorts were shorts. And that’s all I have to say about that. I hope the young fellas will learn someday. But I doubt it. They will probably keep wearing these men’s very short shorts.
