Okay, so today I’m gonna spill the tea on my recent mascara adventure. You know, the quest for the perfect lashes is never-ending, right? I decided to finally try out this Ulta Beauty mascara that everyone’s been raving about. Let’s see how it went!
First things first, I grabbed the Ulta Beauty Amped Lashes Mascara. The packaging looked pretty sleek, nothing too fancy, which is cool with me. I’m all about what’s inside, not the outside.
The Application:
- I started by curling my lashes, gotta give them a little lift, you know?
- Then, I carefully applied the first coat. The brush was a little bigger than I usually go for, but it seemed to grab onto my lashes pretty well.
- I noticed it went on pretty smooth, no clumps right off the bat, which is a HUGE plus.
- Waited like 30 seconds, then I went in for a second coat. This is where I usually get nervous, ’cause too much and you’re in spider lash territory.
Thankfully, the second coat went on nicely too! I focused on the roots to really build some volume. I did have to be careful not to poke myself in the eye, that brush is kinda hefty! lol
The Results:
Honestly? I was pleasantly surprised! My lashes looked longer and definitely more voluminous. They were separated pretty well, too. I didn’t get that dreaded “one big lash” effect.
Wear Test:
I wore it for a full day of work, running errands, and even a quick workout (don’t judge!). I’m happy to report that it didn’t smudge or flake at all! That’s a major win in my book.
The Verdict:
Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the Ulta Beauty mascara. It’s not gonna give you falsie-level drama, but it’s a solid everyday mascara that adds length and volume without clumping or smudging. And the price is right! I’d definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for a new go-to.
