Okay, here is the blog post about the 16 hairstyles I tried out:

Try These 16 Hairstyles (Simple Looks Anyone Can Do)

Alright, so, I was scrolling through Instagram the other day, and I saw this picture of a girl with a super cool, short rocker chic haircut. It looked so fresh and edgy, and I thought, “Why not?” I’ve always been a bit impulsive with my hair, so I decided to just go for it and try a bunch of different styles.

First things first, I booked an appointment with my hairdresser, explained what I had in mind. Not just that short rocker style, but a whole bunch of ’em. I mean, life’s too short for boring hair, right? I figured if I’m gonna do it, I’m gonna do it right. We’re talking about a major hair experiment here.

We started with that short rocker chic cut. Man, it felt so liberating to chop off all that hair! I felt like a new person. It was a bit of a shock at first, seeing myself with such short hair, but I quickly fell in love with it. It was so easy to style, too. Just a little bit of product, and I was good to go. It also really made my eyes pop, you know? My friends said it brought out my “expressive eyes” – whatever that means, haha.

After rocking the short look for a while, we moved on to some other styles. I went through a bunch of them. Some were easy, some were a bit more work, and to be honest, a few of them were, uh, not my best look. Here’s a few I remember:

  • A sleek, straight style. This one was pretty simple. We just straightened my hair and tucked it behind my ears. It was a nice, clean look.
  • Braids! Tried a few different kinds of braids. French braids, fishtail braids, even tried some tiny little braids all over my head. That was a bit much, not gonna lie.
  • Messy bun. This one’s a classic for a reason. Super easy, super quick, and it always looks good.
  • High ponytail. This one made me feel sporty and fun. It was great for a day out.
  • Space buns. Okay, this one was a bit out there, but it was fun to try. I felt like a character from a sci-fi movie.
  • A pixie cut with bangs. Another short one, but this time with some cute little bangs. It was a fun, flirty look.

Honestly, I kinda lost track after a while. We tried so many different styles. It was a whirlwind of hairspray, bobby pins, and a whole lot of hair ties. I even experimented with some hair accessories, like headbands and clips. It was a wild ride, that’s for sure!

We did that short rocker cut first, then went to a pixie, then grew it out a bit for some messy waves. After that, I think we did a bob, then a lob. Then, I think, we did some long layers, then back to a bob. Then we added some bangs. Then I think I dyed it a funky color for a bit? It’s all a bit of a blur, to be honest. We played with the texture using some styling product to get messy hair.

By the end of it, my hair had been through the wringer, but it was so much fun! I learned a lot about what styles work for me and what styles definitely don’t. And I discovered that I actually really love having short hair. Who knew?

The Takeaway

My biggest takeaway from this whole experience? Don’t be afraid to experiment with your hair! It’s just hair, it’ll grow back. And you might just discover a new style that you absolutely love. Be brave, be bold, and have fun with it! And hey, if you end up with a style you hate, there’s always hats, right?

Oh and one more thing, make sure you take a photo before and after. This would help remind you of the process. I wish I had taken more photos of all the styles, but I was having too much fun to stop and document everything.

Anyway, that’s my hair adventure! Hope you enjoyed hearing about it. Let me know if you’ve ever done anything crazy with your hair! Maybe, I’ll try your style out next time!
