Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with Chanel CC sandals:
So, I finally caved and got myself a pair of those Chanel CC sandals. You know, the ones you see everywhere on Instagram? Yeah, those. I’d been eyeing them for ages, but the price tag? Ouch. It took some serious saving (and maybe skipping a few lattes), but I decided to treat myself.
The Hunt
First things first, finding the right pair. I’m normally an easy fit, but i was told that Chanel’s size is a bit small,so i tried to find a bigger one.I tried on a few different styles at the boutique. Some were too flashy, some were too plain… Goldilocks syndrome, much?
I ended up going for the classic quilted leather ones in black. They’re simple, chic, and I figured they’d go with pretty much everything in my * shop assistant wrapped up my shoes.
The Unboxing
Getting home and unboxing them was a whole experience. That Chanel packaging? So fancy! It felt like Christmas morning. I carefully took the shoes out, it’s so prety!
The Wearing
- First impressions: They were surprisingly comfortable! The leather is super soft, and the footbed is nicely cushioned. I was worried they’d be stiff and need breaking in, but nope, they felt great right away.
- Walking around: I wore them out for a day of errands, and my feet were totally fine. No blisters, no rubbing, nothing. I even walked a decent amount, and they held up really well.
- Style factor: I’ve worn them with jeans, dresses, skirts… they seriously elevate every outfit. They make me feel instantly more put-together, even if I’m just running to the grocery store.
The Verdict
Okay, are they worth the splurge? Honestly, I’m still a little shocked I spent so much on sandals. But, I have to admit, I love them. They’re comfortable, versatile, and they make me feel good. If you’re on the fence, and you have the budget, I’d say go for it. Just be prepared to baby them a little – they’re definitely not the kind of shoes you want to wear to the beach!
I will go outside with them, maybe next * forward to it!
