Okay, so the Eras Tour is coming up, and let’s be real, figuring out what to wear is almost as important as snagging tickets. I mean, it’s Taylor, it’s winter, and it’s a whole vibe. I spent a good chunk of my weekend diving into this, and here’s the messy, glorious journey.

Brainstorming & Inspiration
First, I hit up my closet. I pulled out everything that even remotely screamed “Taylor.” Think sparkly dresses, cardigans, anything with fringe… the works. I had a few pieces that could maybe work, but nothing that felt truly “Eras Tour” ready.
Then I opened Pinterest. That’s where things got a little crazy. I created a board and started pinning like a madwoman. There were SO many ideas. I was looking for things that kept these points:
- Warmth: It’s winter, duh. No freezing for fashion.
- Sparkle: It’s Taylor, after all. Sequins, glitter, anything shiny.
- Comfort: I wanted to be able to dance and move.
- Era-Specific:, try my best to represent a couple of eras, if possible.
The Outfit Options
After hours of scrolling and pinning, I narrowed it down to a few core ideas:
- Option 1: “Lover” Inspired. I found this amazing pink, faux fur coat online. I could pair it with a sparkly dress, or even just some cute jeans and a Lover-esque t-shirt.
- Option 2: “Reputation” Vibes. I have some black, faux leather pants that could work. Add a dark, glittery top, and maybe some edgy boots. Bonus points for snake-themed accessories (I have a ring that would be perfect!).
- Option 3: “Folklore/Evermore” Cozy. Think oversized cardigan, flowy dress, and some comfy boots. This is probably the warmest option, and I love the earthy, cottagecore vibe.
The Trial Run(s)
I tried on so many combinations. Some were epic failures (that one sequin jumpsuit was a disaster). Others were surprisingly cute.
I took some mirror selfies (cringe, I know, but necessary!) to see how everything looked on. I even did a little dance test in my living room to make sure I could move comfortably.

The Final Decision (For Now…)
Right now, I’m leaning towards the “Reputation” inspired outfit. It feels edgy and fun, and I think it’ll be warm enough. But, I’m also keeping the “Lover” coat in mind as a backup. It’s just so darn cute!
Honestly, this is a work in progress. I still need to figure out accessories, hair, and makeup. It’s a whole process, but it’s been so much fun. I’ll probably do another closet dive this week, just in case I missed something amazing.
I have to say that finding my perfect “Eras Tour” winter outfit made me really happy.
