I hear them sayin’ that this lip oil is the hot thing now. Everybody’s buyin’ it. Like them Beanie Babies a few years back. Remember those? Everyone had to have ’em. Now it’s this lip oil.
They even sayin’ that lipstick is dead! Dead as a doornail. Can you believe it? Now it’s all about the lip gloss and the lip oil. Times are changin’, that’s for sure.

This Dior lip stuff, it comes in all sorts of colors. Like I said, there’s that raspberry, that’s like a dark red, I reckon. And pink, that’s what my granddaughter likes. She says it makes her look like a movie star.
- Raspberry: That’s a dark red, I think. Like raspberries, I guess. Never seen a raspberry that color, but that’s what they call it.
- Pink: That’s a light pink, like the flowers in my garden. My granddaughter, she loves that one.
- And I heard there’s other colors too. But those two, that’s the ones I hear about the most.

I don’t know why they like this stuff so much. Maybe it makes them feel pretty. Maybe it makes them feel like them rich folks.
I guess it’s like when I was a girl, and we all wanted them poodle skirts. Remember those? Every girl had to have one. Made you feel like you were part of somethin’. Maybe this lip oil is like that.
But me, I’m happy with my old ways. I don’t need no fancy oil to feel good. I got my family, and I got my garden, and that’s all I need. But if these young folks like this lip glow oil Dior, then that’s their business. To each their own, I always say. To each their own. This dior lip oil is good, I guess. But a little bit of lard is ok for me.
