The vs him deepwater mystery explained! (Heres everything you need to know now!)

Okay, guys, let’s talk about the “VS Him Deepwater” fragrance. I gotta say, I was pretty curious about this one, so I decided to give it a try and see what all the hype was about.

First off, I went to a local store that carries Victoria’s Secret products. I had seen some buzz online about this scent, and figured it was worth checking out. I started by asking the store associate if she can help me find the perfume. I told her I’m looking for the VS Him Deepwater. She looks into their system for a while and then come back saying “Sorry, we don’t have it, but it’s available online.” I said to myself, I want to smell it first before buying it, so I left the store and tried the next shop. Walked in and the same process again, asked an associate, looked it up on their system and then went to the shelves and this time she brought me a bottle of VS Him Deepwater.

I took a whiff from the bottle, and the first thing that hit me was this icy bergamot note. It was fresh, kinda like a cold blast of air, which I found pretty interesting. Then, as I smelled it a bit more, I started noticing some other scents. There was definitely some freshwater in there, along with blue sage. I’m not a big flower guy, but I could tell there were some floral notes like Jasmine and Freesia in it, but they weren’t overpowering, which was good for me. It had this nice, rounded-out smell that wasn’t too heavy. I do think I smelled Orange Blossom as well, though not too strong. All in all, it’s not bad and I’m getting more curious of how it will smell on me.

So, I bought a bottle. I’ve been wearing it for a few days now, and I gotta say, it’s growing on me. It’s definitely a unique scent. That bergamot and freshwater combo is what really stands out to me. It’s like a cool, refreshing wave, but then it settles into something a bit warmer and more complex. I think that’s where the blue sage and maybe some of those other base notes come in. I don’t know if I’d call it “hypnotic,” but it’s definitely got something going on. A coworker actually told me that I smell good, and it’s not just her, a couple of people in the office mentioned that I smell “fresh” or “clean.”

I sprayed it on my wrists and neck in the morning, and I could still catch whiffs of it throughout the day. It’s not one of those colognes that slaps you in the face, but it’s definitely there. It didn’t irritate my skin or anything, which is good. It seems like a good everyday scent, something you could wear to the office or out on a casual date. I sprayed some on my clothes, too, and it lingered there for a while, which was nice. It didn’t stain or anything, so that’s a plus. It definitely has a masculine vibe, but it’s not overly macho or anything. The scent lasted for a good few hours, which I was happy with. I also tried spraying it in my hair, and it seemed to hold the scent pretty well. It’s not like I was leaving a trail of Deepwater everywhere I went, but I could definitely smell it on myself, and that’s what matters, right?

Would I recommend it?

Yeah, I think so. If you’re looking for something different, something fresh but with a little bit of depth, this is worth checking out. Just keep in mind that it might not be for everyone. It’s not your typical cologne, that’s for sure.

Anyway, that’s my experience with VS Him Deepwater. Hope this was helpful, guys! Let me know if you’ve tried it and what you think.
