Okay, so let’s talk about these olive green Nike SBs I’ve been messing around with.
I saw these shoes online a while back and thought, “Those are kinda cool, I guess.” I’ve always been into Nike, ever since I was a kid, you know? They’re just a classic. And olive green? It’s not my usual go-to, but I figured, why not try something different? So, I ordered them.
When they finally arrived, I took them out of the box, and I gotta say, they looked even better in person. The color was really nice, a bit muted, not too flashy. I started trying them on with different clothes in my closet. First, I tried them with some beige pants and a white t-shirt. Pretty basic, but it worked! The shoes stood out, but not in a bad way. It was a clean, simple look.
Then I got a little bolder. I have this burgundy sweater that I thought might look good, and guess what? It did! I read somewhere that olive green and burgundy are supposed to go well together because they’re, like, opposites on the color wheel or something. I don’t know about all that, but they looked good to me.
I even tried them with some brown stuff. I’ve got these brown cargo pants and a brown jacket. I put them on, and it was a whole vibe. I know someone said that olive green and brown are good for a calm, inviting look. I felt pretty chill and comfortable, so maybe they’re right.
- Neutral colors are your friend. Beige, white, black—they all work with these shoes.
- Don’t be afraid of burgundy. Seriously, it’s a good match.
- Brown is cool too. Gives you that relaxed, easygoing feel.
Here’s what I figured out:
I wore the olive green Nikes with the beige pants and white tee to the coffee shop the other day, and I got a couple of compliments. So, yeah, I’m pretty happy with these shoes. I’m still experimenting with different outfits, but I think I’m getting the hang of it. It’s fun trying new things, you know? And these shoes have definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone a little, in a good way.
