Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little project with the SB Dunks – specifically, the purple ones.
It all started with seeing these kicks online. I’ve always been a fan of Dunks, and the purple, man, it just popped. I had to get my hands on a pair.
So, first things first, I searched for them. And that took…a while. Seems like everyone else had the same idea, these things were either sold out everywhere or going for crazy prices on resale sites.
I finally found a pair, my size, not costing a fortune, and I bought them. I was hyped!
When the box arrived, It’s like Christmas. I opened that box, smelled that new shoe smell, and there they were. Beautiful.
The Detailing Time!
Now, I like my shoes, and this will be my first time to put on some detail.
- Took photos, from all angles. Gotta document the “before” state.
- Got them cleaned. Wiped down with a slightly damp cloth, nothing fancy. Just wanted to make sure they were pristine for the detail work.
Then I just wore them. A lot. Took them out, showed them off, put some actual wear and tear on them.
After a few weeks of regular wear, I checked everything over. Make sure that I’m satisfied.
That’s pretty much it. A simple, satisfying experience with a pair of shoes I really dig. It ain’t rocket science, it’s just about enjoying the process and the little things, like a dope pair of purple Dunks.
