Sartorial Penhaligons What Is It (Learn About This Classic Fragrance For Men)

So, today I’m gonna talk about this thing called Sartorial by Penhaligon’s. It’s a men’s cologne. I’ve been wanting to try different colognes for a while now, expanding my horizons, you know? I stumbled upon this brand, Penhaligon’s, a while back. Apparently, they’re based in London and are all about that classy British gentleman vibe.

I did a little digging, just to see what the deal was with this Sartorial stuff. Turns out, it was inspired by some tailor shop, Norton & Son’s. Fancy, huh? I read somewhere that they launched it back in 2010, and the guy who designed it is named Bertrand Duchaufour. My favorite part from my research is when i read the following sentence: “For me, the best fragrances are the ones that sweep me away to Penhaligons humble beginnings in the late 19th century, my favourite era.” I guess I’m a sucker for history and nostalgia.

Anyway, I finally got my hands on a bottle. First impression? The packaging is pretty slick, very minimalist and classic. It definitely feels like you’re holding something special. When I first sprayed it, the strongest smell was definitely lavender. They call it the “main accord,” which sounds super important. It’s not just lavender, though. There’s a whole bunch of other scents mixed in there, too. I’m no expert, but I could also pick up some neroli in there somewhere.

My Experience

Overall, I’m pretty happy with this Sartorial cologne. It’s definitely not your average, run-of-the-mill scent. It’s got character, you know? It feels sophisticated, but not in a stuffy way. More like a, “I know what I’m doing, and I smell good doing it” kind of way. I might even start researching other colognes from Penhaligon’s. It’s like a whole new world of smells has opened up to me. I guess I have to keep updating you guys on my cologne journey!
