Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post following your instructions:

Sagittarius Birthday
Alright, so this week I was tasked with coming up with some cool visuals for a Sagittarius birthday bash. The client, super into astrology (like, really into it), wanted something that screamed “Sagittarius” but wasn’t cheesy. Talk about a challenge!
First thing I did? Hit up the ol’ drawing board, literally. I started sketching ideas, mostly just brainstorming shapes and symbols associated with Sagittarius. You know, the archer, stars, fire signs…the whole shebang. My initial doodles were kinda all over the place, but it helped me narrow down what didn’t work.
Next up was diving into color palettes. I wanted something vibrant and energetic, reflecting Sagittarius’s adventurous spirit. Think oranges, yellows, purples, maybe a splash of deep blue. I spent a good hour messing around with different combinations, swatching everything on my tablet until I landed on something that felt just right – a gradient of warm oranges fading into a rich purple.
Then came the tricky part: the archer. I’m not exactly a character artist, but I wanted to incorporate the archer symbol in a subtle, modern way. I ended up abstracting the shape, simplifying it into a dynamic, flowing line that suggested movement and direction. I played around with different line weights and thicknesses to give it some depth.

After that, I moved everything into my design software. Time to get digital! I started building the composition, layering the colors, the archer symbol, and some star patterns. I used a bunch of different blend modes to get some cool effects, adding a bit of texture and visual interest. Honestly, there was a lot of trial and error involved, moving things around, tweaking colors, until it finally clicked.
Finally, after a couple of days of tweaking, refining, and generally staring at the screen until my eyes went blurry, I had something I was actually proud of. I sent it over to the client, fingers crossed, and they loved it! They even asked if they could use it for future events. So, yeah, Sagittarius birthday: success! It was a fun, creative challenge, and I learned a lot in the process. Now, onto the next one!
