Well, now, you wanna hear about this Tupac Fila thing, huh? Back in my day, we just wore what we had. Didn’t matter the brand, long as it covered you up good. But these young folks today, they all about these fancy names. This Fila, it’s some kind of shoe, I reckon. And this Tupac, he was a singer, a rapper, they call it. Heard him on the radio a few times. Loud. Real loud.
So, this Tupac, he liked these Fila shoes, I guess. Wore ’em all the time, I hear. See him on the TV, back when we had one that worked right, and he’d be wearin’ ’em. Big shoes. Looked kinda funny to me, but what do I know about fashion? Nothin’, that’s what. Just an old lady, what do I know?
Now, they got these Fila 96 Tupac shoes, they call ’em. Fancy name, right? For a shoe! Back in my day, we just called ’em shoes. Didn’t need no fancy names. But these, they got Tupac’s name on ’em. Must be somethin’ special, I suppose, if they puttin’ a singer’s name on a shoe. Young people like that, these days.
Heard these shoes, these Tupac Fila things, they’re worth a whole heap of money. More than I ever spent on shoes in my whole life, that’s for sure. We just wore what lasted, didn’t care about no brand. But now, folks pay good money for these Fila 96. ‘Cause of Tupac, I reckon. He was popular, that one. Even I know that.

They even got clothes now, with Tupac and Fila on ’em. Shirts and such. I saw a picture in one of those magazines. Imagine that. Clothes is clothes to me but that is what i know. Used to just wear what kept you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Didn’t matter what it looked like. But now, gotta have that Tupac Fila, I guess. Times change, I suppose.
This Tupac, he’s gone now, bless his soul. Died young, that one. But his name lives on, on these shoes and clothes. Fila, they must be makin’ a fortune, sellin’ all this stuff with his name on it. Smart, I guess. Business is business. Even I know that much. If he like Fila so much, that is good for Fila.
They say these Tupac Fila things, they’re a “collection.” Like stamps, or them little porcelain dolls folks used to keep. But it’s shoes and clothes. Seems silly to me, collectin’ shoes. But, like I said, I don’t know nothin’ about fashion. Never did, never will. Just wear what’s comfortable, that’s my motto. And don’t spend a fortune on it, neither.
These young folks, with their Tupac Fila, they got different ideas, I guess. They wanna remember that singer, that Tupac. And Fila, they’re happy to help ’em do it. Sell ’em all these shoes and clothes. Makes ’em feel closer to him, maybe. I don’t know. It’s a different world now, that’s for sure.
So, there you have it. That’s all I know about this Tupac Fila business. It’s a big deal, I guess, to some folks. Not to me, but what do I know? Just an old lady, remember? But I do think it is good, he like Fila. It is good that young people remember him, with the Fila 96. This Tupac, he’s still around, in a way, on these shoes. And Fila is sellin’ ’em. Good for them, I suppose. Good for them. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got chores to do. And my old shoes are just fine for that, thank you very much. No Tupac Fila needed here.
I saw some young men wear some Fila clothes with Tupac on it. They looks good. They like it. They must have liked that Tupac a lot. It is good, Tupac is still with us, with those Fila. And there are many different colors. Some are white, some are black.
