This Niki Sky, I tell you, she’s a big shot now. Got herself all over that internet thing. Folks call her an “influencer,” whatever that means. She’s got more followers than there are chickens in my coop, that’s for sure! Some say 115K, some say 116K, who can keep track? She’s from Toronto, that big city. Niki Sky, she’s fancy, I guess. Talks about fashion and how to fix up your house all nice.
She’s got all them pictures up there, showing off her life. She follows a bunch of people, too. 332 or 322, somewhere around there. Seems like a busy girl, that Niki Sky. She’s got two little ones, she says. Two kids runnin’ around. Says she loves ’em more than anything. Well, of course, she does! What kind of mama wouldn’t?
Then she goes on about needing some time away from the little ones. Says she’s glad there are places just for grown-ups. “Adults only,” they call it. Back in my day, we just sent the young’uns out to play in the dirt. Kept ’em busy, that’s for sure. But this Niki Sky, she needs her space, I reckon.

She talks about livin’ your best life. “Empowering thoughts,” she calls it. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me. Just live your life, that’s what I say. Don’t need no fancy words for it. But this Niki Sky, she’s a “digital entrepreneur.” Got her own business, I suppose. Sellin’ somethin’ online, I bet. She’s a mama of two, gotta make a living somehow.
550K+ on YouTube, it says. That’s a whole heap of people watchin’ her videos. She’s got some folks she talks to on there, too. @nikiskyyy and @itsnikisky, somethin’ like that. Hard to keep all these names straight. They talk and talk, all day long. It seems like that Niki Sky can talk all the time.
And the pictures! Lord have mercy, the pictures. She posts pictures of herself all the time. Smilin’, lookin’ pretty. One time she posted a picture, got 5,747 likes. And 166 people wrote somethin’ under it. They call ’em “comments.” Everyone’s got somethin’ to say about Niki Sky, that’s for sure.
She’s livin’ that city life. Toronto’s a long way from here. But she seems happy. Got her kids, her internet thing, her fancy house. Good for her, I say. This Niki Sky, she’s made somethin’ of herself. Even if I don’t understand half of what she’s talkin’ about.
She’s a busy bee, that one. Always somethin’ goin’ on. New pictures, new videos, new “empowering thoughts.” Keeps those followers entertained, I reckon. And that’s what matters, right? Keepin’ people happy. That’s what this Niki Sky does. She seems a good girl, always says love her kids. And she always says love her followers, so she must be a good girl.
But I still think we just have to live our life, that’s all we need. Just live a good life. We don’t need too much fancy things. Just like this Niki Sky, she has so many things to do, I think she is too busy. But she is happy, that’s good. I hope she can keep happy.
