Okay, so I’ve been hyped about the new Corvette for a while now. I finally decided to just go and grab some photos of it. Here’s how the whole thing went down.
First, I figured out where I could even find one. I mean, they’re not exactly parked on every street corner. I called a couple of local Chevy dealerships. The first one was a total bust – nothing. But the second one? Bingo! They had a couple in the showroom.
Getting Ready
Before I headed out, I made sure my camera gear was ready. It’s nothing fancy, just my trusty old DSLR and a couple of lenses. Here is the list of the gears:
- Camera body
- Standard zoom lens (you know, for general shots)
- A wider lens (to get the whole car in the frame without being a mile away)
- Extra battery (because nothing’s worse than running out of juice mid-shoot)
- Memory card with tons of space
I charged everything up the night before, so I was good to go.
At the Dealership
When I got to the dealership, I walked straight to the showroom. And there it was! This bright red Corvette, just sitting there looking all sleek and powerful. I asked one of the sales guys if it was okay to take some pictures, and he was cool with it. He even offered to move it to a better spot with better lighting, which was awesome.
I spent about an hour, maybe a little more, just walking around the car, snapping shots from every angle I could think of. I got some close-ups of the details, like the headlights and the wheels. I also made sure to get some wider shots that showed the whole car. Honestly, it’s just such a good-looking machine.
Wrapping Up
After I felt like I had enough photos, I thanked the sales guy and headed home. I was pretty excited to see how the pictures turned out. Back home, I popped the memory card into my computer and started going through them. There were a few duds, of course, but overall, I was really happy with what I got. I even picked out a couple of my favorites to show off. Mission accomplished!
