Naha Restaurant Chicago: How to Make a Reservation (Everything You Need to Know)

Okay, so I’ve been wanting to check out this place, Naha Restaurant in Chicago, for a while now. Heard some good things, you know? So, finally, last weekend, I got to go!

First off, I made a reservation. I just went online and used this website on my phone. It was pretty easy. I picked a Saturday night, thinking it would be packed, and I was right. Good thing I booked ahead!

Getting there was a bit of a mess, I’m not gonna lie. We were going to take the bus, but ended up calling a car because we were running late. The traffic was pretty bad around there, especially being in River North. Maybe we should’ve tried the subway or something.

When we finally got to the restaurant, the place looked pretty cool from the outside. Kinda fancy but not too much, you know?

The inside was nice, too. Dim lights, comfy chairs, not too loud. We got our menus, and man, there were so many choices! They got all kinds of stuff, but it’s mostly, like, Japanese-Mediterranean fusion, which is kinda different.

Food

I ordered this tuna tartare thing for an appetizer. It was really good! Fresh, tasty, just the right amount of seasoning. My friend got some kind of sushi rolls, and she said they were amazing, too. For the main course, I went with the grilled branzino. It was cooked perfectly, nice and flaky. My friend had this lamb dish that she wouldn’t stop talking about. Said it was the best lamb she’s ever had!

Drinks and Dessert

We got some drinks, too. I had a glass of white wine, nothing special, but it went well with the fish. My friend tried one of their cocktails. It looked pretty and she liked the taste of it. And for dessert, we shared this chocolate lava cake. Oh boy, it was so rich and chocolatey. Perfect way to end the meal.

The service was pretty good overall. Our waiter was friendly and checked on us just enough. He gave us some good recommendations, too. The food came out pretty fast, which was nice because we were starving!

It wasn’t a cheap meal, I’ll tell you that. But honestly, for the quality of the food and the whole experience, I’d say it was worth it. I’d definitely go back to Naha again, maybe for a special occasion or something. If you’re in Chicago and looking for a nice place to eat, you should check it out!

All in all, I had a great time at Naha. Good food, good service, nice atmosphere. What more could you ask for, right?
