Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole Miss Piggy thing. I saw people online talking about her, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I mean, who doesn’t love a sassy pig, right? So, I decided to create a full-body drawing of her. It was… an experience.

Getting Started
First, I tried to get a good feel for who Miss Piggy is. I found she’s this diva pig who’s totally convinced she’s gonna be a huge star. She’s got this super girly, charming thing going on in public, but I also saw she’s got a whole lot of attitude. I started with some rough sketches of her head. It’s all round and chubby, just like you see her on TV. I gave her that classic short, layered hair she’s been rocking, with the little flip at the end. And of course, she had to have her bangs.
The Body
Then came the body. Man, this was tricky. I wanted to capture her confidence, that “I’m a star, deal with it” vibe. I put her in a bunch of different poses, trying to make her look as fabulous as possible. I mean, she’s always dressed to the nines, so I had to make sure her outfit was on point. I messed around with different dresses, even tried some of those “Miss Piggy outfits” ideas I found online. It was kind of fun playing dress-up with a pig, I’m not gonna lie.
Details, Details
Next up, the little things. Her eyes, her snout, her little hands and feet. I spent way too long trying to get her eyes just right. They had to be big and expressive, you know? Like she’s always ready for her close-up. And her snout… I tried to make it look like a pig’s, but also kind of glamorous? It’s weird, but it works.
Kermit?
I even thought about putting Kermit in there somewhere. Everyone knows about their whole love affair thing. I kind of pictured her giving him a big, dramatic kiss, with him looking all awkward and overwhelmed. But I figured that might be too much for one drawing. Maybe next time.
Coloring It In
Finally, I got to the coloring. I used a lot of pinks, obviously. But I also threw in some purples and golds to make her really pop. I wanted her to look like she just stepped out of a magazine. I even added some glitter effects because, why not? Miss Piggy is all about the sparkle.

The Final Result
Honestly, it turned out way better than I expected. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely Miss Piggy. You can see her personality in it, her sassiness, her confidence. It was a fun little project. I even posted it on my Instagram, and people seemed to like it. Got a few “kissy kissy” comments, which was pretty funny.
What I Learned
This whole thing taught me a lot about character design. It’s not just about drawing a picture, it’s about capturing who someone is. And with Miss Piggy, there’s a lot to capture. She’s a complex character, even if she is a puppet. I might even do more drawings of her in the future. Maybe I’ll try that Kermit idea after all. We’ll see.
So yeah, that’s my Miss Piggy story. It was a wild ride, but I’m glad I did it. It’s always fun to try new things, even if it’s drawing a full-body version of a diva pig puppet. C’est la vie, right?
