So, I’ve been trying to up my style game recently, right? And who better to take inspiration from than Luke Newton? The dude’s got that effortlessly cool vibe that I’m totally digging.

First things first, I went on a little online hunt to see what he’s been up to. I watched a few clips of him getting ready for some photoshoot – he was chatting with Jonathan Bailey, you know, the guy who plays Anthony in Bridgerton. They were talking shop, and it seemed like they were real good mates. Honestly, seeing them together just made me like them both even more.
Then I started digging into what Luke’s been saying about his style. Apparently, he went through a bit of a “glow-up” for Bridgerton Season 3. He made the decision to physically prepare for the role. I mean, I gotta respect that. He decided he wanted to look a certain way and he went for it. It’s like he’s totally committed to the character, and I guess that’s what makes him such a great actor, right?
I did a little more digging, trying to find out what else he’s been in, and it seems like Bridgerton is his big thing right now. And I guess I’m not the only one who’s noticed him – he’s been doing all sorts of interviews! I read some comments online where people were saying it’s great to see him doing press again. People are genuinely excited for him and Nicola Coughlan. They seem to have great chemistry on screen, and I’m really looking forward to seeing them together more in Season 3.
Anyway, back to my style journey. I decided to focus on a few key pieces that seem to be staples in Luke’s wardrobe.
- The first is a well-fitted suit. He rocks a suit like no one’s business. I went out and invested in one myself. Now, I don’t look exactly like Luke Newton in it, but hey, I feel a whole lot more confident.
- Next up, the casual button-down. He often wears these in interviews, and they look so relaxed yet put-together. I grabbed a couple in different colors and have been experimenting with rolling up the sleeves, just like he does.
- Finally, the shoes. It seems he knows that a good pair of shoes can really tie an outfit together. So I’ve been trying to pay more attention to my footwear, too.
I’m still a work in progress, of course. But I think I’m making some good strides. It’s not just about copying someone else’s style, but more about finding what works for me and makes me feel good. And honestly, taking inspiration from someone like Luke Newton has been a great starting point.

Oh, and one more thing! I read somewhere that he knew people would find something about his character in Bridgerton “frustrating.” Now I’m even more curious to watch the new season! May 16th can’t come soon enough!
So, yeah, that’s my little journey into trying to channel some of that Luke Newton style. It’s been fun, and it’s definitely helped me step up my game a bit. I think as long as you’re having fun with it and feeling good, that’s all that really matters, right?
