Okay, so I’ve been totally obsessed with Lori Harvey’s style lately. I mean, who isn’t? She always looks so effortlessly chic and put-together. I decided I was going to try to recreate some of her iconic outfits, just for fun, and, you know, maybe elevate my own wardrobe game a little.
Phase 1: The Deep Dive (aka Pinterest Obsession)
First things first, I needed inspiration. So, I dove headfirst into Pinterest. I spent, like, a solid two hours just scrolling through pictures of Lori Harvey. I created a whole board dedicated to her outfits, separating them into categories like “Date Night,” “Casual Chic,” and “Gym Glam” (because even her workout clothes are fire).
Phase 2: The Inventory (aka My Closet Reality Check)
Next, I had to, you know, actually see what I had in my own closet. Turns out, I own a lot more sweatpants and oversized t-shirts than I thought. Not exactly Lori Harvey vibes. I did, however, find a few key pieces that I thought I could work with: a black blazer, some decent jeans, a couple of cute crop tops, and a surprisingly nice pair of heels I’d forgotten about.
Phase 3: The Hunt (aka Online Shopping Spree… and Returns)
Obviously, I needed to fill in some gaps. This is where the online shopping came in. I spent hours searching, mostly successful, found to fill the basic parts I was missing.
- I ordered a few basic tops in neutral colors.
- I tried to find some similar accessories, like chunky gold hoops and a small shoulder bag.
- Also grabbed a pair of sneakers.
Of course, not everything worked out. Some of the clothes I ordered were, shall we say, not quite the quality I was expecting. Let’s just say there were a few returns involved.
Phase 4: The Styling (aka Playing Dress-Up)
This was the fun part! I started putting together outfits based on the pictures I’d saved. I mixed and matched different pieces, trying to channel that Lori Harvey effortless cool. It was definitely a process of trial and error. Some outfits looked amazing (in my opinion, at least!), while others… well, let’s just say they were a work in progress.
Phase 5: The Verdict (aka Did I Pull It Off?)
Honestly, it was a lot of fun! I definitely learned a few things about styling and how to put together outfits that are both chic and comfortable. Did I perfectly replicate Lori Harvey’s looks? Probably not. But I did manage to create some outfits that I felt really good in, and that’s what matters, right? Plus, I discovered some new pieces that I’ll definitely be incorporating into my wardrobe more often. Mission accomplished (sort of!).
