Hey everyone, so I’ve been meaning to check out this new Longines store at the World Trade Center in New York for a while now. Finally got around to it last weekend, and I figured I’d share my little adventure with you all.

First off, finding the place was a bit of a journey. I mean, it’s the World Trade Center, so you’d think it’d be easy, right? Wrong! It’s inside the Westfield mall, which is this massive, shiny place. I walked in and immediately got lost. I mean, there are so many stores, and they are all fancy.
After wandering around for a good twenty minutes and asking a security guy for directions, I finally spotted it. It’s on the main floor, nestled between a bunch of other high-end shops. The store itself is pretty slick – all glass and bright lights, showcasing those beautiful Longines watches like they’re museum pieces.
The staff were super friendly, which is always a plus. I’m no watch expert, but I do appreciate a good timepiece, and Longines is known for their classic styles. They’ve got this whole “winged hourglass” logo thing going on, which is pretty cool. Anyway, one of the sales guys, a real nice guy, came over and started chatting with me about the different collections.
Here’s what I learned from our little chat:
- They have a ton of different styles, from classic dress watches to sportier models.
- Longines is part of the Swatch Group, which apparently owns a bunch of other watch brands.
- They used to make these awesome pocket watches back in the day, which I thought was pretty neat.
I spent a good hour just browsing and trying on a few different watches. They had this one vintage-inspired piece that really caught my eye, but the price tag was a bit too steep for me. Maybe one day, right?

Even though I didn’t end up buying anything, it was still a fun experience. It’s always cool to see these kinds of luxury items up close and learn a bit about the brand’s history. If you’re ever in the World Trade Center area and you’re into watches, I definitely recommend checking out the Longines store. Just make sure you know where you’re going inside that mall, or you might end up wandering around forever like I did!
Oh, and one last thing – apparently, they’re also in Greenwich. Who knew?
