Today I tried to make a drink. It’s called “Little Whiskey.” I mean, I love whiskey, so why not give it a shot, right?

First, I grabbed my stuff. I got some whiskey, obviously. Then I needed some sugar ’cause the recipe said so. Also, I got some lemons ’cause it said something about lemon juice. Oh, and ice, definitely needed ice.
So, I started by pouring the whiskey into a glass. I didn’t measure it, just eyeballed it. Probably around two shots, maybe a bit more. Who’s counting, anyway?
Next, I added the sugar. I used that brown sugar ’cause it’s what I had. I put like, a spoonful. I think that’s enough, hopefully not too sweet.
Then came the lemon part. I cut a lemon in half and squeezed the hell out of it. I got a good amount of juice, I guess. I poured that into the glass with the whiskey and sugar. It smelled pretty good, I gotta say.
Now, the important part: mixing. I stirred it up real good with a spoon. I made sure the sugar was all gone and the lemon juice was all mixed in with the whiskey.

Finally, I added some ice. I filled the glass almost to the top, ’cause I like my drinks cold. Plus, it looks fancier with ice, you know?
My Little Whiskey Tasting
- First sip: Not bad, not bad at all. The whiskey is definitely there, but the lemon adds a nice kick.
- Second sip: Yeah, it’s growing on me. I think I did good. It’s strong but not too strong. The sugar balances it out nicely.
- Halfway through: Okay, I’m feeling it now. This is a good drink. I might make this again sometime.
- Finished: Empty glass. I think I nailed it. I’m no bartender, but I’d give myself a solid thumbs up for this one.
So yeah, that’s how I made my “Little Whiskey.” It was a fun little experiment. I might tweak it a bit next time, maybe add a bit more lemon or something. But overall, it was a success. Cheers!
