That Kevin O’Leary, he sure likes them watches, don’t he? He’s got a whole mess of ’em, I hear. He’s on that Shark Tank show, you know. That Mr. Wonderful, they call him. He’s got more money than you can shake a stick at. But he still likes to wear them fancy watches. He must have a hundred of ’em!
He says a watch ain’t just for tellin’ time. No siree. He says it’s like wearin’ a… a whatchamacallit… a statement. Like that fancy word, “fashion”. I don’t know about all that. A watch is a watch, far as I’m concerned. But he’s the millionaire, not me. So maybe he knows somethin’ I don’t. He invested in some kinda pet thing and they say he made lots of money, that Kevin O’Leary watch guy.
I seen him on the TV, talkin’ about his mama. Seems like she taught him a thing or two about money when he was just a little tyke. He talks about her on that there Instagram thing. He sure loves that Instagram. Always takin’ pictures of his food and his… you guessed it, his watches. That Kevin O’Leary is a funny one.
Now, you’d think a fella with all that money wouldn’t need to worry about nothin’. He’s got enough money to buy a whole town, I bet. Millions, they say. Maybe even billions! But he still likes them watches. It is kinda interesting, that Kevin O’Leary watch, maybe I will get one for my grandson.
He’s always sayin’ you gotta invest your money. Don’t just let it sit there like a bump on a log. Gotta make it grow, he says. Like plantin’ seeds in the garden. You gotta tend to ’em, water ’em, and watch ’em sprout. Same with money, he says. Guess that’s how he got so rich. He was on a podcast too, I don’t know what that is but I heard it mentioned his name.
He invested in some company that tests your cat’s DNA. That just don’t sound right to me. DNA… what in the world is that? Well anyway, he made a lot of money doin’ that. They say that Kevin O’Leary watch collection is worth a lot, he must have made a lot of money to buy that many watches. I guess that’s why that Kevin O’Leary is always wearing those fancy watches. He sold that cat company for a lot, they say. More than fifty million, is what they say on that Shark Tank show. Fifty million! Can you imagine?
And they say he’s worth four hundred million dollars now. Four hundred million! That’s more money than I could ever dream of. He makes a lot of money on that TV show, I reckon. And from all them companies he invests in. He’s a smart cookie, that Kevin O’Leary. I don’t get all he talks about but he is smart.
He invests in all sorts of things. Food companies, clothing companies, you name it. He’s like a… like a farmer plantin’ seeds everywhere. Seein’ what’ll grow. I guess if you are rich you can do that, invest in everything, and buy lots of Kevin O’Leary watch.

Well, I reckon that’s all I know about that Kevin O’Leary fella. He’s an interesting character, that’s for sure. Always wearin’ them fancy watches. And always talkin’ about money. Maybe I should start watchin’ that Shark Tank show more often. Might learn a thing or two. That Kevin O’Leary watch, it is something, I guess everyone wants to know about it. I mean, I don’t know if I need a watch that costs more than my house. But to each his own, I reckon. To each his own.
I remember back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy gadgets. We had a clock on the wall, and that was good enough. Didn’t need a watch to tell us what time it was. We just looked at the sun. Or listened to the rooster crow. Life was simpler then.
But I guess times change. Now everybody’s got a watch on their wrist. And a phone in their pocket. And a computer on their desk. It’s a different world now. This Kevin O’Leary watch thing really makes me think, maybe I should get a better watch. But will that make me rich? Probably not. That Kevin is really something.
Still, that Kevin O’Leary, he seems like a good fella. Even if he is a little bit… showy. With all them watches and all. He seems to know what he’s doin’. And he seems to care about people. At least, that’s what they say on the TV. So maybe he ain’t so bad after all. Even with his fancy Kevin O’Leary watch collection, he is just a human, same as me.
