Kerastase Didnt Tame Your Frizz? Check This Out Instead

Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with Kerastase, written in the style you requested:

So, I’ve been on this never-ending quest to tame my frizzy hair. You know, the kind of frizz that makes you look like you stuck your finger in a light socket? Yeah, that’s me. I’ve tried everything, and I mean everything. Serums, oils, leave-in conditioners, you name it. I finally caved and decided to go all-in on Kerastase, because, well, everyone raves about it, right?

My Kerastase Experiment

I’d heard so much hype about Kerastase. I mean, people online talk about it like its liquid gold. I did my research and figured, given my extremely frizzy situation, the Discipline line was the best. It is the line that focuses on frizz.

So I started with the whole shebang. I got:

I dove in headfirst. Washed my hair with the shampoo, followed the instruction. Used the conditioner. And, I would be religiously, I mean religiously, applying these products exactly as directed. I even timed how long I left the conditioner in, just to be extra sure.

The Results, and Oh boy…

I did this routine for a solid two-three weeks. I was picturing myself with that sleek, commercial-worthy hair, where it just flows perfectly, that my frizzy hair transformed into smooth. But, sadly, nothing happened. I kept thinking, “Maybe it takes time…maybe it needs to build up…”

Nope. My hair, I swear, was just as frizzy, maybe even more frizzy, after blow-drying. It felt heavy, like there was a ton of product just sitting on my hair, weighing it down, but not actually, you know, doing anything about the frizz. Honestly, my hair felt kind of… greasy. Like I hadn’t washed it in days, even though I’d just stepped out of the shower.

I was so bummed. I’d spent a good chunk of change on these products, and my hair looked exactly the same, if not worse. That “before and after” I was hoping for? Yeah, the “after” was basically the “before,” but with a slightly heavier, greasier feel. I hate that.

So, that’s my Kerastase story. Maybe it works wonders for some people, I don’t know. But for my super-frizzy, needs-a-miracle hair? It was a total bust. And I’m back to square one, still searching for that holy grail product. Sigh. The search continues…
