Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Katy Perry and her dresses. You know, that girl who sings those catchy songs on the radio? Yeah, her. I saw some pictures of her online, the young’uns showed me, and she wears some right interesting getups, I tell ya.
One time, I saw her in this big poofy dress, looked like a big ol’ cupcake. It was red, real bright red, like a fire engine. My goodness, it was somethin’ else. She had this big hat on too, matched the dress. Looked like she was gonna go to a fancy tea party or somethin’. I don’t know where she was goin’, but it sure was somethin’ to see.
Then there was this other time, she had on this shiny dress, all sparkly and glittery. It was short, showed off her legs and all. My old man woulda had a heart attack if he saw somethin’ like that back in the day! It was all covered in these little shimmery things, like fish scales or somethin’. She looked like a disco ball walkin’ around. I ain’t never seen nothin’ like it. Kids these days, they wear the strangest things, I swear.

I heard tell she went to some big shindig for a king or somethin’ over in England. Wore a fancy dress there too, I bet. Probably cost more money than I’ve seen in my whole life. These celebrities, they got money to burn, I guess. They wear these fancy clothes to these fancy events, and we see the pictures and talk about it.
One thing’s for sure, Katy Perry ain’t afraid to wear somethin’ different. She don’t just wear plain old jeans and a t-shirt like the rest of us. She likes to stand out, make a statement. And you know what? Good for her. Life’s too short to wear boring clothes, I always say. Though I reckon I’ll stick to my overalls and comfy shoes, thank you very much.
It’s amazin’ what they come up with these days. Back in my day, we just wore what we had, what was practical. We didn’t have all these fancy designers and stylists. But times change, I guess. And Katy Perry, she’s a sign of the times, that’s for sure. Always wearin’ somethin’ new, somethin’ different, somethin’ that gets people talkin’.
I don’t always understand her fashion choices, mind you.
