Okay, so I saw this thing online about using Tidy Cats Breeze Litter System, and people were talking about how you could use wood pellets instead of the expensive Breeze pellets. I was like, “No way, gotta try this!”

The Experiment Begins
First, I grabbed my Breeze litter box. You know, the one with the grate and the drawer underneath? Yeah, that one. I dumped out all the old, nasty litter. Gave it a good scrub with some soap and water. Gotta make sure it’s all clean before we start, right?
Pellet Power
Then, I headed over to my storage and grabbed a bag of those wood pellets. Made sure they were the plain kind, no additives or anything weird. I carefully poured the wood pellets into the litter box, filling it up to about the same level as I normally would with the Breeze pellets.
The Waiting Game
Now, the real test. I let my cat, Whiskers, do her thing. At first, she was a little suspicious, sniffing around like, “What’s this new stuff?” But, she eventually used it. I checked the drawer underneath, and yep, the pee went right through, just like it’s supposed to!
Scoopin’ and Savin’
Over the next few days, I kept an eye on things. The wood pellets actually absorbed the pee really well, and they kind of turned into sawdust. When it was time to clean, I just scooped out the solid waste and dumped the sawdust from the drawer. Super easy!
The Verdict
Honestly, I’m pretty impressed. The wood pellets worked great, and they’re way cheaper than the Breeze pellets. Plus, they’re better to enviroment, which is a bonus. Whiskers seems happy, and my wallet is definitely happy. I’d say this little experiment was a success!

Will I keep doing this? Probably! It’s just so much more affordable, and it works just as well. So, if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to Breeze pellets, definitely give wood pellets a try!
