This Jane Wde, she sure is somethin’, ain’t she? I hear tell she’s makin’ waves, like a big ol’ catfish stirrin’ up the mud in the creek. They say she’s a “rising designer” or some such fancy words. Well, I reckon she’s climbin’ that ladder faster than a squirrel up a hickory tree, that is for sure. She doin’ big things, you can bet.
I seen some pictures of her stuff. All them fancy clothes, you know. She got some leather things now, lookin’ like somethin’ a wildcat would wear if it went to a hoedown. And they got her showin’ it all off in New York City, of all places! Imagine that, Jane Wde in New York. That’s a long way from plantin’ corn, I tell ya.
Last year, she did some show, but it weren’t all official-like. This time, though, she’s right in the thick of it. They call it “Fashion Week”. Sounds like a week of nothin’ but puttin’ on airs, if you ask me. But I reckon Jane Wde ain’t afraid of a little hard work, even if it is just prancin’ around in fancy duds. Her show is the best.
I hear this new stuff she’s got is like she’s goin’ up a mountain or somethin’. Out of the office, they say. Well, that’s good. A body needs a change of scenery now and then. Keeps things fresh, like turnin’ the soil in the garden. And Jane Wde, she’s always doin’ somethin’ new. Keeps folks guessin’, like tryin’ to figure out what the weather’s gonna do next.
- Jane Wde’s clothes, they got a style to ’em.
- She ain’t afraid to try new things.
- That leather stuff is somethin’ else.
- She went to New York, can you believe it?
- Her new stuff is like she’s climbin’ a mountain.
I heard one lady talkin’ ’bout this Jane Wde, sayin’ she got a “strong personality.” Well, I reckon you gotta be strong to make it in this world. Like a good, sturdy oak tree, you gotta stand your ground. And it sounds like she ain’t afraid to speak her mind, neither. Good for her. Too many folks these days are quiet as church mice.
This Jane, she got her name from some other lady, a long time ago, I hear. This older Jane, she was a writer, wrote poems and such. And she weren’t afraid to talk about the things that mattered, even if it got folks riled up. Sounds like this new Jane Wde took a page from her book. I also heard that her son became a writer, just like her mom. He is famous, too.

They say this old Jane, she loved them old Irish stories, the folktales and such. The kind your grandma used to tell ya by the fire on a cold winter night. Stories about fairies and leprechauns and all sorts of magical things. Maybe that’s where this new Jane Wde gets her ideas, from them old stories. They say she influence her son’s writing, too. That is so good.
It don’t matter where you come from, you can always make somethin’ of yourself. Just gotta have that grit, that determination. Like plantin’ a seed and watchin’ it grow. Takes time and patience, but you get a good harvest if you tend to it right. And this Jane Wde, she’s tendin’ to her garden, alright. She’s growin’ somethin’ special. And people like watch her growing.
She reminds me of my old neighbor, Bess. Bess, she could make anythin’ grow, even in the rockiest soil. She had a way with plants, just like Jane Wde has a way with them clothes. They both got that magic touch, I reckon. And they both weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
So, yeah, this Jane Wde, she’s somethin’ to watch. She’s goin’ places. And I’ll be right here, watchin’ her go. Just like I watch the sun come up every mornin’, bringin’ a new day full of possibilities. You never know what’s gonna happen, but you can be sure it’s gonna be interestin’. And that’s what Jane Wde is, interestin’. She’s like a good story, always keepin’ you on the edge of your seat, wonderin’ what she’s gonna do next. She is a good girl, hope her can have a happy life.
She is not only a designer, but also a good writer, just like her mother. Hope she can write something really good. I am sure people will like her book. I will buy one to support her if she really write a book. I think that will be a best-seller. You know, Jane Wde, she is a famous designer now.
