First things first, I went in on a Tuesday morning. I heard that many people donate stuff over the weekend, and it takes a day or two for the store to sort through it all. So, Tuesday seemed like a good bet.
When I walked in, I tried to keep an open mind. I mean, you never know what you’re gonna find, right? It’s all about the thrill of the hunt. I started browsing through the racks, keeping an eye out for anything that caught my eye.
Here’s what I focused on:
- Materials: I was mostly looking for natural fibers like cotton, wool, and silk. They tend to last longer and feel better on the skin.
- Condition: I gave everything a good once-over, checking for stains, tears, or any other signs of wear and tear. No point in buying something that’s already falling apart, you know?
