My old eyes have seen a lot, but this trend, it’s something else. It is not something new. It is just popular again. I remember old days, people always wear this.
Young folks, they pay good money for jeans with holes all over. Back in my day, we got holes in our clothes from working hard, not from some fancy store. But hey, times change, right? If they wanna wear ripped-up jeans, that’s their business. I just hope their knees don’t get too cold in the winter!

Now, I seen some folks wearing denim on denim. That’s right, a denim jacket with them ripped jeans. It’s a lot of blue, I tell ya. Like they fell into a vat of dye or something. And they pay much money for this. It is crazy! My old brain can not understand.
If you ask me, I think it’s all a bit silly. But, like I said, to each their own. If you like the denim tear outfit, then you wear it. Just don’t come crying to me when you catch a cold from all them holes in your pants! They are just clothes. Do not spend too much money on this.
This denim stuff, it’s tough, you know. It lasts a long time. My old man, he had a denim jacket he wore for years. It got all faded and soft, but it never ripped. Maybe that’s why I don’t understand this whole ripped-up thing. If you have good clothes, you should take care of it. It will last long.
