How to Get Rouge Sephora Every Year:Simple Step-by-step!

Okay, so I’ve been trying to snag that coveted Rouge status at Sephora, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey! I wanted to share my experience, step-by-step, because it wasn’t as straightforward as I initially thought.

How to Get Rouge Sephora Every Year:Simple Step-by-step!

The Starting Point: Beauty Insider

First things first, you gotta be a Beauty Insider. That’s the basic, free level. I’ve been a Beauty Insider for years, just casually racking up points with my occasional mascara and skincare purchases. I signed up for this online – pretty simple, just needed to give them my email and some basic info. If you aren’t one Go to Sephora, find the “sign in or Join for free” and do that.

The Spending Spree (aka The Hard Part)

Here’s where things got real. To hit Rouge, you need to spend $1,000 in a calendar year. Yep, a cool grand. I definitely wasn’t there naturally, so I had to get strategic.

  • Stocking Up on Staples: I started by making a list of all my everyday essentials that I buy at Sephora anyway – my foundation, moisturizer, cleanser, you name it. Then, instead of buying them one at a time throughout the year, I made a couple of bigger purchases to stock up.
  • Gift Time (for Me and Others): Birthdays, holidays… any excuse to buy gifts at Sephora, I took it. This helped me justify some of the spending, since I was technically buying for other people… and maybe sneaking in a little something extra for myself.
  • Treat Yo’ Self (Responsibly): Okay, I did splurge a little. I’d been eyeing a fancy new eyeshadow palette and a higher-end serum, so I used this as my motivation to finally go for it. I figured, if I’m going to spend the money, I might as well get something I really want!

Tracking My Progress

I’m obsessive about checking things, so I kept logging into my Sephora account to see how close I was getting to that $1,000 mark. It was kind of motivating, like a little game. Sephora’s website has a progress bar that shows how much you’ve spent and how much more you need to reach the next tier.

Finally, Rouge!

After a few strategically, I finally hit that $1,000 mark. It took about two or big orders. And boom – I got an email from Sephora welcoming me to the Rouge club! I felt some satisfaction. And I did a little happy dance.

Was It Worth It?

Honestly, the free shipping is amazing, and I do love the early access to sales and new products. Plus, the bigger birthday gifts are a nice perk. If you’re already a big Sephora shopper, it’s probably worth aiming for Rouge. But if you’re not, don’t feel pressured to spend a ton of money just to reach a status.
