How to Get Gwen Stefanis Iconic 90s Fashion Style?

Hey guys, let me tell you about my little project on recreating Gwen Stefani’s iconic 90’s looks. I’ve always been a huge fan of her style from back in the day, and I thought it would be fun to try and put together some outfits inspired by her.

Getting Started

First, I spent hours scrolling through old photos of Gwen, you know, from her No Doubt days. I wanted to really get a feel for what her style was all about. It was a total blast from the past! I saw a whole bunch of pictures with her rocking those cool crop tops and baggy pants, always with those killer belt chains. Her style was so unique, mixing that ska vibe with a bit of hip hop thrown in.

Putting the Looks Together

Next, I started to put together some outfits. This was the fun part! I hit up a few vintage stores and even raided my own closet for some pieces. I found this awesome pair of low-rise, wide-leg jeans that were perfect. Then I paired them with a simple white crop top – gotta show off that midriff, right? For another look, I found a plaid, flannel shirt and tied it around my waist, just like Gwen used to do. I even tried to create some of her punk rock-inspired looks, so I dug up some old band tees and ripped them up a bit for that edgy vibe.

Accessorizing is Key

Of course, no Gwen Stefani look is complete without the right accessories. I searched everywhere for those chunky belt chains she used to wear. I eventually found some at a local market that were pretty close. I also made sure to add some bold, colorful jewelry, just like she did. And let’s not forget the hair! I tried out a few different styles, from those crazy space buns to her signature platinum blonde.

The Final Result

Finally, I put it all together and, let me tell you, it was so much fun! I felt like I was channeling my inner 90’s Gwen. It was cool to see how those simple pieces could be combined to create such a bold and unique look.

It was a really fun project, and it made me appreciate Gwen Stefani’s style even more. She was truly a fashion icon, and it was awesome to try and recreate some of her most memorable looks. It’s amazing how fashion can transport you back in time, and this little experiment definitely took me on a fun trip down memory lane!
