How Much is Starface Lip Balm? Price Check and Is It Worth It?

Alright so last Tuesday I was scrolling through my phone and saw this pink star lip balm everywhere. People were raving about Starface like it’s magic or something. Honestly I just wanted to know what the fuss was about and if it’s even worth buying. So I decided to actually go find it and try it myself. Here’s how that went down.

How Much is Starface Lip Balm? Price Check and Is It Worth It?

The Hunt for the Price Tag

First thing I did? I walked into Target. Figured it’s gotta be there. Wandered to the beauty section and there it was – those cute little yellow stars. Grabbed the pink one. Flip it over, check the price sticker. $6.99. Okay, not terrible. But then I thought, maybe it’s cheaper somewhere else?

Hopped over to Ulta later that day. Same lip balm. Different price. $7.49. Seriously? Fifty cents more just for walking across the street? Annoying.

Got curious. Pulled out my phone right there in the aisle. Checked Target’s app. Still $6.99. Checked Ulta’s app. Yep, $7.49. Finally looked directly on the Starface site itself. $7.00. Plus shipping! So basically, Target’s looking like the winner price-wise.

Actually Using the Darn Thing

Bought it at Target for $6.99. Felt kinda silly paying almost 7 bucks for a tiny lip balm, but whatever. Ripped open the packaging – gotta say, the star thing is cute. Feels solid, not cheap plastic. Good start.

Twisted it up. The balm itself is bright pink and smells like candy. Seriously sweet, like those fizzy drinks. Put it on. Felt smooth going on. But… not super moisturizing? Like my lips felt coated, not hydrated. Had coffee an hour later. Balm was gone. Gone gone.

Kept at it for a few days. Same deal. Looks cute in photos, smells nice, but I’m reapplying constantly. My old $2 tube lasts longer. The star shape is fun for a second, but honestly? Doesn’t help it work any better. Just looks cool in pictures.

So… Is It Actually Worth Your Cash?

Here’s my take after actually buying it and using it:

Kind of disappointing, but hey, at least I tried it so you don’t have to waste your cash experimenting. Unless you really love tiny stars.
