Alright, so I kept seeing this Summer Fridays thing pop up. The orange tube, the Overtime one. People seemed to like it, said it smelled like pumpkin. My skin’s been feeling kinda rough lately, dull you know? Like I haven’t slept properly in weeks, which, well, maybe I haven’t.
So I figured, why not? Give it a try. Went and picked one up. It wasn’t cheap, gotta say. Felt a bit weird spending that much on what’s basically fancy pumpkin goo in a tube, but whatever. Curiosity got the best of me.
Trying it Out
Got home, washed my face. Nothing special, just the usual routine. Then I opened the tube. Okay, yeah, it definitely smells like pumpkin spice. Like, Thanksgiving in a bottle. A bit strong, maybe, but not unpleasant. Kinda nice, actually.
I squeezed some out onto my fingers. It’s thick, orangey-brown, and has these little grainy bits in it. I started putting it on my face, rubbing it in circles like the instructions kinda hinted at. Felt like a gentle scrub. Not harsh or scratchy, just… exfoliating, I guess?
- Squeezed out a decent amount.
- Spread it all over, avoiding eyes obviously.
- The smell was pretty strong the whole time.
- Felt a little bit warm on the skin. Not burning, just… warm. Tingly maybe?
Left it on for about 10 minutes. Read the news on my phone, tried not to move my face too much. It didn’t get super tight or dry like some clay masks do, which was good.
The Wash Off and Results
Rinsing it off was easy enough. Just used warm water. Took a minute to get all the little bits off. My sink looked a bit orange afterwards, needed a quick wipe.

So, how did my face feel? Surprisingly soft. Like, noticeably smoother than before. And it looked a bit brighter? Less tired, maybe. The dullness seemed dialed back a notch. It wasn’t some miracle transformation, don’t get me wrong. My wrinkles didn’t vanish or anything.
But it felt… nice. Refreshed. Like I’d actually done something good for my skin for a change, instead of just slathering on the same old moisturizer. Used it a few more times since then, maybe once a week. The effect seems consistent. Skin feels smoother and looks a bit less blah each time.
Overall? Yeah, it’s pretty decent. A nice little pick-me-up when my skin feels particularly grumpy. The pumpkin spice vibe is kinda fun too, especially in the fall. It’s a nice mask, does what it promises mostly. Makes my skin feel better temporarily. That’s about all you can ask for sometimes, right?
