Gyaru Nails: Amazing Designs You Have to Try Now

Okay, so, gyaru nails, right? I’ve been seeing them all over my Insta feed and TikTok, and I was like, “I gotta try that!” It looked so extra, so fun, and just totally me.

Gyaru Nails: Amazing Designs You Have to Try Now

First, I gathered my supplies. This was the hardest part, honestly. I needed nail glue, a ton of different nail polishes (think bright colors and glitter), nail gems, tiny charms, like, the whole shebang. I even ordered some 3D nail art molds off of Amazon. Gotta have those cute lil’ bears!

Next, I prepped my nails. I pushed back my cuticles, filed my nails into a cute almond shape, and buffed them so the glue would stick better. This is the boring part, but you gotta do it right, otherwise, your nails will pop off after like, five minutes.

Then, the fun part! I applied my fake nails. I went for a long, coffin shape ’cause I’m dramatic like that. I used a super strong nail glue to make sure they weren’t going anywhere. I held each one down for like, a full minute to make sure they were secure.

Now, time to paint! I decided on a base coat of bright pink. Then, I added stripes of neon green and yellow. I used a thin nail art brush for this part, because, precision is key, ya know? Once the base was dry, I added glitter. Like, a LOT of glitter. Sparkle is a must for gyaru nails.

After the glitter, I started on the charms and gems. I glued on a bunch of tiny stars, hearts, and those little 3D bears I got from Amazon. I used tweezers to place them carefully. This part took forever, but it was so worth it. I even added a tiny fake pearl on each nail. Fancy!

Finally, I sealed everything with a thick layer of top coat. This is super important to keep all the charms and glitter from falling off. I let it dry completely, and then added another layer just to be safe.

And that’s it! My gyaru nails were done! They’re so over-the-top and ridiculous, and I absolutely love them. They took like, three hours to do, but who cares? They’re the perfect accessory for any outfit.

Lessons learned:

  • Buy good nail glue. Seriously.
  • Don’t be afraid to go overboard with the glitter.
  • Tweezers are your best friend.
  • Be patient. It takes time to make these nails look good.

I can’t wait to try another gyaru nail look soon. Maybe next time I’ll go for something even crazier!
