Well, well, well, what do we have here? Another fancy something called Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market. They say it’s some kind of, whatchamacallit, perfume. Smell good, I reckon.
This here Givenchy, it must be somethin’ special. They got all kinds of these smelly waters. This new one, this Rouge, sounds like it’s the latest and greatest. They say it joined some other ones, Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum. Sounds like a whole family of ’em! I don’t know nothin’ ’bout all that fancy stuff. But it sounds mighty important to those city folks.
They say this one, this Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge, came out in 2021. That’s a couple years ago now, ain’t it? Time sure does fly when you’re gettin’ older. I reckon it’s still new enough to be all the rage. They keep talkin’ ’bout it like it’s the best thing since sliced bread. I like sliced bread, especially with a little butter and jam.
Now, I ain’t never been one for fancy smells. A little soap and water is all I need. But I guess some folks like to smell like a flower garden. Or a spice market. Who knows what all they put in these things? They say this Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge is special. Unique, they say. Whatever that means. And timeless. Sounds like somethin’ you can wear forever, I guess.

This Givenchy fella, he must be some kinda big shot. Started makin’ these perfumes way back in, when was it, 1957? That’s before my time, I reckon. Must be some family business, handed down through the years. Just like my old farmhouse, passed down from my mama and her mama before her. Except this is perfume, and mine is just a creaky old house.
They talk ’bout this Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge like it’s magic or somethin’. They say it makes folks get compliments. Like, “Oh, you smell so good!” Or some such. I guess it’s important to smell good if you’re courtin’ or goin’ to a fancy party. Me, I just smell like fresh air and sunshine, mostly. And maybe a little bit of chicken feed, if I’ve been out in the coop.
If you’re lookin’ for somethin’ new, somethin’ to make you feel fancy, maybe this Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge is for you. I don’t know nothin’ about it, really. But those city folks sure do seem to love it. They say it leaves a “lasting impression.” I reckon that means folks remember how you smell. I guess that’s important to some people.
I remember back in the day, we used to put a little lavender in our drawers to make our clothes smell nice. Or maybe a sprig of rosemary. Simple things. Didn’t need no fancy Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge or nothin’ like that. But times change, I guess. And folks like to try new things. If it makes ’em happy, well, that’s all that matters.
Now, I don’t know how much this stuff costs. Probably more than I’d ever spend on somethin’ like that. But if you got the money, and you wanna smell like a million bucks, then maybe you should give it a try. This Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge, it might just be the thing for you. As for me, I’ll stick to my lavender. And my chickens. They don’t seem to mind how I smell.
This whole perfume thing is a mystery to me. But I guess it’s a big deal to a lot of folks. This Givenchy, he sure knew what he was doin’, makin’ all these different kinds. And this Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge, it’s just the newest one in the bunch. Maybe it’s the best. Who knows? I reckon you’ll just have to try it and see for yourself. If you like that kind of thing.

So many kinds of perfume these days. It is hard to keep up. But this Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge, people seem to like it very much. They say it is one of a kind. Makes people feel good, I guess. That is important. To feel good. Maybe I will smell it someday. Who knows?
