Get Your Nike Air Force 1 Green Black: Where to Buy & Style Tips!

Yo, sneakerheads! Today, I’m gonna walk you through my little project of customizing a pair of Nike Air Force 1s. I wanted to give them a green and black makeover, so here’s how it went down.

Getting Started

First things first, I grabbed a fresh pair of white Air Force 1s. Gotta start with a clean canvas, you know? Then, I gathered my supplies:

The Painting Process

I started by taping off the areas I wanted to keep white. This took a while, gotta be patient to get it right! I decided to go with a green swoosh, green backtab, and some black accents on the midsole.

Once the taping was done, I started with the green. I applied thin, even coats, letting each coat dry completely before adding the next. This is key to avoid clumping and streaks. It took about three coats to get the solid green I was looking for.

Next up, the black accents. I used a smaller brush for these details, carefully painting the areas I had marked out. Again, thin coats, patience, and steady hands are your best friends here.

Finishing Touches

After the paint was completely dry (I waited a full 24 hours just to be sure), I carefully removed the masking tape. Man, seeing those clean lines is so satisfying!

Finally, I applied two coats of the Angelus matte finisher. This helps protect the paint from scratches and scuffs, and gives it a nice, even finish.

And boom! Custom green and black Air Force 1s, done. It was a fun project, and I’m stoked with how they turned out. It’s all about taking your time and being careful with each step.
