Okay, so I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect large tote bag, and you know, the Louis Vuitton ones are just so iconic. I finally decided to take the plunge and see if I could find one that I really loved, and that I knew I’d get a ton of use out of, because, they are not cheap. Here is how I find this bag:
Scoping Out the Options
First, I spent a good chunk of time just browsing online. I looked at the different styles. I mean, there’s the Neverfull, the Onthego, the Totally… so many choices! I tried to picture myself using each one. Was I going to use this for work? For travel? Just for everyday stuff?
The Material Matter
Then there’s the material. Do I go for the classic Monogram canvas? The Damier Ebene? Or maybe even Epi leather? I watched a bunch of videos and read reviews to see how the different materials held up over time. I wanted something durable, because, you know, I’m not exactly gentle with my bags!
Size Matters, Too!
And of course, I had to consider the size. Louis Vuitton usually offers different sizes for their totes – PM (small), MM (medium), and GM (large). I knew I wanted a large one, so I focused on the GM models, but even then, I compared the dimensions to make sure it would fit everything I needed.
Trying It On For Size (Literally!)
After all that online research, I decided I needed to see these bags in person. I went to a Louis Vuitton store and asked to see a few different styles in the large size. It’s so different seeing them in real life! I tried them on, walked around the store with them, and even put some of my own stuff inside to see how it felt.
Making the Decision
It was a tough choice, but after all that, I finally settled on the one I wanted. It felt right, it looked great, and I knew I’d get so much use out of it. I really felt I got the right one after I tried several bags.
Final thought!
If you’re thinking about getting a large Louis Vuitton tote, I definitely recommend doing your research, and most importantly, trying them on in person if you can! It’s a big investment, so you want to make sure you absolutely love it. It is really a big investment, be careful to made decision.
