Finding Your Gucci Loafers Size: A Beginner’s Guide (Easy way)

Finding Your Gucci Loafers Size: A Beginner's Guide (Easy way)

Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with Gucci loafers lately, specifically the Jordaan model. I finally decided to pull the trigger and buy a pair, but then came the big question: how do I figure out the right size? Especially since I wanted to try and find a good deal online, I couldn’t exactly try them on first.

So, my quest began. First, I scoured the internet. I read tons of forum posts, blog reviews, everything I could find about Gucci loafer sizing. It seemed like everyone had a different opinion! Some people said they ran big, others said they were true to size, and a few even said they ran small. My head was spinning.

Then, I hit the official Gucci website. I figured they must have some kind of sizing guide, right? And they did! But it was mostly just a conversion chart from Italian sizes to US sizes. It wasn’t super helpful, since I don’t usually buy Italian shoes.

I decided to get a little more hands-on. I found a few pairs on different resale sites, and I started looking closely at the pictures. I was hoping to maybe find some kind of size marking on the shoes themselves.

And that’s when I finally found it! After zooming in on dozens of photos, I noticed a small number stamped on the inside of the shoe, near the heel. It’s not on the sole, like you might expect. It’s actually on the leather lining.

Here’s What I Found:

So, that was it! I felt like a detective who had finally cracked the case. By examining enough pictures and comparing the stamped numbers to the listed sizes, I finally figured out my Gucci size and felt confident ordering my loafers. Hopefully, this little journey will help someone else out there trying to find their perfect fit!
