Alright, so, you know those days when you just want something new in your closet? I had one of those a while back, and I decided I needed a new pair of Jordans. Specifically, I was thinking about some red, gray, and white ones ’cause that color combo just hits different, you know?

So, first things first, I hopped onto my laptop and started browsing. I hit up the usual spots like the Nike website ’cause they sometimes have deals, especially for their members. I also checked out Foot Locker ’cause they always have a good selection of Jordans.

  • Checked Nike’s website for any ongoing sales.
  • Browsed Foot Locker’s online store for a variety of options.

After looking around online, I decided to go in-person. Sometimes you just gotta see the shoes in real life, right? I went to a couple of stores, including the Nike store. They had a few red, gray, and white models, but nothing that really caught my eye. They were talking about how the first Air Jordan 1 in red and black came out in 1985 and it’s still an icon. I mean, yeah, it’s cool and all, but I was looking for something specific.

Then I went to Macy’s. They had a decent selection, too, and the staff were pretty helpful, showing me different styles. They had this one pair that was mostly white with some red and gray accents. It wasn’t exactly what I had in mind, but it looked pretty clean. I tried them on, walked around the store a bit, and thought about it.

I was kinda torn, you know? They weren’t the exact colorway I wanted, but they were still pretty dope. I also remembered seeing some posts online about upcoming Jordan releases. There was this one, the “BRED VELVET,” that’s supposed to drop on November 11th, 2024. It’s a women’s exclusive and looked fire, but it wasn’t the color combo I was going for.

After some back and forth, I decided to go with the ones at Macy’s. They weren’t perfect, but I liked how they looked on my feet, and they were comfortable. Plus, I figured I could always get another pair later if I found the exact red, gray, and white ones I initially wanted.

The Result

So, yeah, that’s how I ended up copping a new pair of Jordans. It wasn’t a super smooth process, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right? You gotta hunt for what you want, and sometimes you end up with something a little different but still cool. Now I’ve got a fresh pair of kicks to rock, and I’m already thinking about what my next pickup will be. Maybe I’ll wait for one of those new releases, or maybe I’ll keep searching for that perfect red, gray, and white combo. Who knows? That’s the sneaker game, I guess. You never know what you’ll find.

Oh, I almost forgot.

When I find the one which is in the red, gray, and white combo. I will share again. You know?
