My Morning Face Washing Disaster

So I grabbed that box of Dr Perricone stuff everyone’s raving about. Box looked fancy, felt heavy, spent way too much cash honestly. Morning time, tired as heck, just wanted to wash my face before coffee. Saw the cleanser bottle. Squeezed out a blob that looked kinda blue. Slapped it all over my wet face. Started rubbing like I always do with my cheap soap.

Big mistake. This stuff was NOT like my usual cleanser. Suds exploded everywhere! Got in my eyebrows, up my nose, almost in my eyes. Felt like I was wrestling a foam monster. Took forever rinsing off.

Figuring Out the Serum Thing

Next came this tiny bottle. The “Intensive Pore Minimizer”. Label said it was a serum. Now, I usually skip serums, too much hassle. But hey, spent the money, gotta try. Dropped three dots onto my fingers like the box picture showed.

Weirdly sticky feeling at first. Like glue kinda? Didn’t just melt in like lotion. Waited like 2 minutes staring at my kitchen clock, skin feeling tight.

The “Vitamin C Ester” Mess

Found this yellowish bottle. The photo on the box made it look bright, like sunshine. Label said “Vitamin C Ester”. Popped open the dropper. Tried squeezing the rubber bulb part.

Nothing came out. Squeezed harder. BAM! A whole puddle of orangey liquid dumped onto my hand, half missed and splashed the counter. Wasted like five bucks worth! Cleaned up angry. Dripped the little that was left onto my face. Felt warm! Weird tingle for a minute.

Finally Some Moisture

At this point I just wanted my face to feel normal. Found the cold plasma plus thing. Squirted some on my palm. Was thinner than I expected. Rubbed hands together. Slathered it over everything. Finally felt like actual moisturizer. Smooth, soaked in fast. Relief.

Messing Up the Nighttime Routine

Tried again before bed. Different bottle, dark blue, the night serum. Read the instructions this time. Only need two drops! Put it only on problem spots like my forehead and laugh lines. Much better. Used that nighttime stuff in the pot – the dense cream. Dabbed it on lightly like it said. Skin felt kinda greasy but not awful.

After Two Weeks: What Actually Happened

Honestly? Almost gave up. Skin felt tight and weird first few days. Tiny red bumps near my chin on day 3. But I stuck with it.

So yeah. Don’t just slap these things on like regular drugstore stuff. Read the bottle. Go slow. Some things work great if you use them right, others aren’t worth the hype. Your face ain’t the same as mine, but maybe my mess-ups can save you some trouble.
