Okay, so I’ve been wanting to try out the Dolce & Gabbana Italian Love fragrance for a while now. I finally got my hands on it, and here’s how it went down.
Getting Started
First, I ordered a bottle online. I’d heard good things, and I was really curious about the scent profile—supposedly it’s all about bright citrus and woody notes. I’m a big fan of fresh, summery smells, so this seemed right up my alley.
The Unboxing
When the package arrived, I was pretty excited. I ripped it open—couldn’t wait! The bottle itself is simple but nice, nothing too flashy. Classic Dolce & Gabbana, I guess.
Trying It Out
I sprayed some on my wrist to get a first impression. The initial burst was definitely lemony—really strong and zesty. Kind of like a freshly squeezed lemonade, but fancier. I also noticed a bit of grapefruit in there, which I liked.
- First impression: Super citrusy and bright!
Wearing It Throughout the Day
I wore the fragrance all day to see how it would develop. The strong citrus stuck around for a while, but after a few hours, I started to smell something a bit more subtle. It was kind of woody and a little bit musky, but still really fresh. It was nice because I didn’t wanted to go arround smelling like a pure lemon!
Final Thoughts
Overall, I’m really digging this fragrance. It’s perfect for daytime, especially in warmer weather. It’s not too overpowering, but it definitely makes a statement. And the best part is that I really could feel myself wearing it for a while and I still smelled good. That dry-down is surprisingly good.
- It’s a thumbs-up from me! I’ll definitely be wearing this one a lot.
That my experiment and my thoughs, hope it helps!
