Okay, so today I’m gonna chat about my little adventure down at Kendra Scott on South Congress. You know, the one in Austin? Yeah, that place.

It all started last week. My bestie’s birthday is coming up, and she’s obsessed with Kendra Scott stuff. Like, seriously, obsessed. So, I figured, why not brave the crowds and check out what they had in store? I mean, online shopping is cool and all, but you can’t really feel the jewelry through a screen, right?

First things first, I drove down to South Congress. Finding parking? Ugh, don’t even get me started. It was a whole mission in itself. After circling the block like a million times, I finally snagged a spot like three blocks away. Worth it though, right? For friendship!

I walked into the store, and bam! Bling everywhere! It’s like walking into a jewelry rainbow. The place was packed, mostly with tourists and what looked like bachelorette parties. Loud. Super loud. But the jewelry… oh man, the jewelry. They had everything. From those classic pendant necklaces to some seriously sparkly earrings. I saw some diamond pieces too; really fancy stuff. Definitely not in my budget, haha!

I started browsing, trying to find something that screamed “birthday present” for my friend. I knew she loved rose gold, so I focused on that section. There were so many options! I ended up spending like an hour just looking at different necklaces and earrings.

One thing I gotta say, the staff there were pretty helpful, even though it was super busy. I asked one of the ladies about the different stones they used, and she gave me the whole rundown. Apparently, they even take back gently used jewelry. Good to know if I ever have anything to donate!

Eventually, I settled on a cute little rose gold pendant with a drusy stone. It was simple, but elegant, and I knew she’d love it. Plus, it wasn’t going to completely break the bank. Winning!

The checkout line was insane, but I finally made it through. Grabbed a cute little Kendra Scott bag, and I was out of there. Overall, it was a pretty good experience, even with the crowds and the parking situation. I’m pretty sure my friend’s gonna love her gift. And hey, maybe I’ll even treat myself to something next time. You know, for being such a good friend and all. 😉

So, yeah, that’s my Kendra Scott South Congress adventure. Would I do it again? Probably. But maybe on a weekday morning when it’s not so crazy. Lesson learned!
