Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this thing called “fred malmer,” and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I started this whole thing because I wanted to really get to know myself better, you know? Like, who am I, really?

I started by digging into what makes me, well, me. It’s like that whole “self-discovery” thing you hear about. I read a bunch of stuff online, some of it was pretty helpful. I learned that self-discovery is basically exploring your inner thoughts, needs, and values. Sounds simple enough, right?
Diving into Self-Discovery
So, I started listing things about myself, like those “Who You Are Right Now” lists. It was kinda weird at first, putting all that down on paper. I also tried to understand how I connect with others – the whole “Loving and Being Loved” bit. I thought a lot about what I believe in and what’s important to me. That stuff is important for that thing they call your “personal identity”.
Then there’s this “Guided Drift” thing. It’s like, letting yourself wander a bit, explore new stuff, see what clicks. It’s all about finding what makes you tick, what you’re passionate about.
I found this book, “The Alchemist.” This guy Santiago goes on this big journey to find himself. It got me thinking, maybe I need my own little journey. Not like, across the world or anything, but you know, a journey inside my head.
There’s this video game character, 2B from Nier: Automata. She’s a combat android, pretty badass. You can do this thing where you look up her skirt, and she’ll push the camera away. And her skirt is somehow explosion-proof. Don’t ask me. I don’t know why I mentioned this, but it came to my mind and it felt related. I think it is all related, and I felt like telling you all this stuff. And I wanted to tell you all this to explain what I have been doing the last few weeks.

The Journey Continues
I’m still figuring this whole “fred malmer” thing out. I realized that knowing yourself is super important. It helps you make better choices, and you feel more, I don’t know, real? Like you’re being true to yourself. It’s about being authentic. It makes you feel you are more confident in your decisions, and it is a cool thing to have!
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- Made lists about myself.
- Thought about my values and beliefs.
- Tried new things, just to see what happens.
- Read “The Alchemist” for some inspiration.
- Got distracted by video game characters. (Hey, it happens!)
So, yeah, that’s my “fred malmer” journey up to now. It’s been a bit all over the place, but I feel like I’m getting somewhere. I’m learning a lot about myself, and it’s actually pretty cool. I will keep doing this for a while, and maybe I can give you an update in a few weeks or months. Who knows.
