Well, well, well, look at that. That boy, Conan Gray, he sure got himself all cleaned up for that fancy party, huh? GQ Men of the Year, they call it. I seen the pictures. Fancy, fancy.
He went to that GQ Men of the Year shindig. Back in 2021, I reckon. November 18, 2021, to be exact. It was in West Hollywood. Sounds like a made-up place, don’t it? All them California places sound made up to me.
That Conan Gray, he’s a singer, you know. Sings them songs that all the young folks like. My grandkids, they listen to him. Makes my ears hurt sometimes, but they like it, so what can an old lady do, huh?
He was at the West Hollywood EDITION. That’s where they had the party. He was all dressed up. Looked like he was going to a wedding or somethin’. Not like the folks around here dress, that’s for sure. We’re more of a jeans and t-shirt crowd.
Now, in 2023, he went to another one of them GQ parties. November 16, 2023, this time. This one was in Los Angeles, another one of them California places. Bar Marmont, they called the place. Sounds like a place where they’d serve them little sandwiches with the crusts cut off.
This Conan Gray fella, he sure gets around, don’t he? One day he’s in West Hollywood, the next he’s in Los Angeles. Must be nice to be young and famous. They got a red carpet at these shindigs. Heard they take pictures of everyone walking on it.
That GQ, it’s a magazine, ain’t it? For men. They put all them good-lookin’ fellas in it, all dressed up in fancy clothes. Probably cost more than my whole house, them clothes. He’s probably in the magazine. Good for him, I guess.
I seen some comments online about it. Lots of them. Folks sayin’ how good he looked and all. He got 822,000 likes one time and another time he got 1,687 likes. Can you imagine that? 822,000 people likin’ something you did. Seems crazy to me, but that’s them young folks for ya.

I don’t know much about this Conan Gray boy, ‘cept he sings and he goes to these fancy Hollywood parties. He’s doin’ alright for himself, I reckon. Good for him. It’s a different world out there than what I’m used to. But hey, everyone’s gotta find their own way, right?
I bet his mama’s proud. That’s what matters, ain’t it? Makin’ your mama proud. He seems like a good boy, even if he does wear them fancy clothes and go to them fancy GQ Men of the Year parties. I reckon he ain’t forgot where he came from.
Well, that’s all I got to say about that Conan Gray and his GQ parties. It’s all a bit much for this old lady, but it’s interestin’ to see how them young folks live. Keeps me young, I guess, seein’ all this newfangled stuff.
He was in West Hollywood, then he was in Los Angeles. That Conan Gray, he’s livin’ the life, ain’t he? GQ Men of the Year, huh? Sounds important. I hope he had a good time. I hope he ate some of them little sandwiches. I bet they were good.
That’s all I know about this whole Conan Gray GQ thing. It’s all over the internet, those pictures of him all dressed up. Like I said, it’s a different world. But good for him, makin’ somethin’ of himself. That’s all that matters in the end, ain’t it? Making something of yourself, no matter where you are, West Hollywood or right here.
