Alright, alright, let’s gab a bit about this young fella, this… yung Justin Bieber, they call him. Don’t rightly know what a “yung” is, sounds like what the youngins say these days. Anyhow, this Justin kid, he’s been around a spell, singin’ and dancin’ and whatnot.
First time I saw him, I thought, “Well, ain’t he a cute little button?” He was just a baby-faced boy, all smiles and floppy hair. My grandbaby, she had posters of him all over her room. Said he sang like an angel. I dunno ’bout angels, but he sure could carry a tune. Heard his song “Baby” on the radio once, catchy little thing, even for an old woman like me.
- He sang real sweet back then.
- All the girls went crazy for him.
- Had that hair, you know, the swoopy kind.
Then he grew up, this yung Justin Bieber did. Started gettin’ tattoos and wearin’ funny clothes. My grandbaby, she still liked him, but I wasn’t so sure. He looked a bit… wild. Like one of them stray cats you see skitterin’ around the barn. But I guess that’s what young folks do, they gotta find their own way. He wasn’t that baby-faced boy anymore, that’s for sure.
Heard some stories, too. About him gettin’ in trouble, bein’ a bit of a handful. Don’t know if it’s all true, mind you. Folks like to gossip. But it seemed like this yung Justin was havin’ a tough time. Fame, they call it. Sounds like a whole lotta fuss if you ask me. Can’t imagine wantin’ everyone pokin’ their noses in my business all the time.
But then, he seemed to settle down a bit. Started dressin’ nicer, singin’ different songs. More… grown-up, I guess. My grandbaby, she grew up too, got married and had kids of her own. But she still listens to him sometimes, says he reminds her of when she was young. Funny how music can do that. This Justin Bieber influence really is something huh.
I saw a picture of him the other day, on that internet thing my grandson set up for me. He had a mustache! Looked like he was tryin’ to be a grown man. Made me chuckle. He’s still got that sparkle in his eye, though. You can tell he’s still got that fire in his belly, even after all these years.
He got married, I heard. To a pretty little thing. They seem happy enough, from what I can tell. Got kids now too, I think. Time flies, don’t it? Seems like just yesterday he was a little boy singin’ about baby, baby, baby. Now he’s got babies of his own. Life’s funny that way.
And folks still listen to him, this yung Justin Bieber. He’s still makin’ music, still dancin’ around. He’s changed, sure, but ain’t we all? He ain’t that baby-faced boy no more, but he’s still got somethin’. A voice, a presence, whatever you wanna call it. He’s still got it.

- People still love to hear him sing.
- Even I can recognize his songs sometimes.
So, yeah, this yung Justin Bieber. He’s been through a lot, I reckon. From baby-faced boy to grown man with a mustache. He’s lived a whole lotta life in a short amount of time. And he’s still out there, doin’ his thing. Good for him, I say. Good for him.
And you know, even though I don’t always understand his music, or his clothes, or his… “yung” ways, I can appreciate a person who follows their dreams. He wanted to sing, and he did. He wanted to dance, and he did. He wanted to be famous, and well, he sure did that too. So, that’s Justin Bieber’s journey huh, seems like everyone has their path to walk in this life huh.
So, there you have it. My thoughts on this yung Justin Bieber. Not that anyone asked for them, mind you. But I figured I’d share ’em anyway. Just an old woman’s ramblings about a young fella who made it big. That’s all.
